Again not pacey but a willing worker for the team. Quite happy with that one. Not sure how he will fit in with Guly if he is going to be in centre midfield though

I saw Guly for the first time on tuesday and when he was put in central midfield he looked a very decent player. Very Vierra like in his running and aggresion.Obviously not likely to be as good but he will become a real top player for us if he adapts to the new climate and club.When he scored he did not run to the fans but to Fonte. I hope he fits in, if he does we have a new hero for the future

again in genereal were good last season but we have lost 2 of our pacey unpredictable players and our main goalscorer is in a drought. You cannot rely on 1 man to get you 30 goals a season

well if he is in the reserves he won't be able to. MLT and all the other stars we have had, had dry periods. Fans knocking him won't help his confidence. The last 2 games I have seen RL he has been desperately unlucky not to score.Last night his shot that thundered against the bar was showing how his fortunes have changed. I never have thought that he was a centre forward that outjumps centre halves, but one with a brain who makes space and scores goals.Stop RL and you stop saints, that is what other teams know is the case.

WC don't be daft. RL is going through a difficult time but last night he was very unlucky not to score.As soon as he does he will bang them in for fun again. He needs some decent balls into him to feed off.

If the keeper dives the right way he does improve his chances of saving it, but you have to factor in that the taker just does not kick the ball but also tries to make the keeper go the wrong way. I recall years ago Shilton said that he waited for the ball to be hit before trying to save it. He had an appalling record for doing so. it was then shown that if you try and wait the ball is in the net before you can react.
