  1. Iam amazed that the club did not have an option put into the loan deal in case Antonio shone. They would have known he was out of contract in the summer and so Reading were there for a taking, now they have the whip hand
  2. Iam sure that ML would have had the attitude 'the king is dead, long live the king' you can't dwell and I'm confident Marcus would have felt the same as it seems we were a project important in his life/death
  3. Yes it was Europe wide but some of it we could have opted out of, but it was to Blairs advantage not to.
  4. Wasn't the 11+ elitist and i suggest more costly to run as I think you will find class sizes were smaller and facilities better
  5. Yep like the ambulance chasers on Claims Direct and Human rights lawyers who cost the taxpayer fortunes, who have had the laws tailor made by their husband. Yes lawyers are very important but sadly i have no time for many if them, as you no doubt can tell.
  6. Their attendance was OK. Although when you factor in the opposition bringing a large support and they still have the feelgood factor of the cup final and getting away with robbing the people of the nation etc
  7. it depends how you look at it. Running the human rights scam is not that hard
  8. i still believe in NC and his shrewd handling of our finances but Iam a tad alarmed that the lack of good signings to guarantee our success is a worry. Either NC is keeping his powder dry for a new manager or the 5 year plan has been put to one side.
  9. I won't hold my breath about that. Although he has made more than he will ever require add to that the gold plated human rights laws for his wife to earn from.
  10. It has yet to be ascertained exactly how much of the books proceeds are to be given. Like all things Blair look through the spin. Is it all the royalties worldwide and not a penny going his way including the advance? He is just damned in my household much in the way you despise the great Margaret Thatcher
  11. If we have a 5 year plan that is to be implemented, then we do need some more players in various areas. IMO the squad is weaker than it was at the end of last season and has not been truly addressed in the vital areas.
  12. If any of you had private parking and the total ignorance of people who have no rights to park in these places , blocking people in and then abusing people who dare mention they should not do so, then you may be a little more understanding. If the clamping companies are doing things illegally then i have no time for them but can you tell me what else people can do when they provide customer car parking ? I add i dont use clamping companies but it does annoy when people take liberties Also if people didn't park illegally the clampers would not be needed
  13. When the Dr Kelly saga is properly looked into i think Blairs kingdom will come down.
  14. Iam a capitalist but there is a limit to greed and his actions IMO are across the line. I see no fault in trying to do best for yourself family and friends but to dodge paying into society to that extent is immoral
  15. reading the thread title i thought a poster was hoping for a Orient victory lol
  16. His Lordship and ladyship (William and Tori to me) are clients. They are a fantastic couple.
  17. Basically he is saying that I am very intelligent and can read the future and that I should open a Tell the Future tent on Southsea common. It will be a doddle, as I will be able to read their palms in the dark, Love and Hate on the knuckles and 'place Sailors **** here' on their palms
  18. I think I'll wait for Pathe to release some of your old stuff from your dancing days.Lol
  19. I didn't risk clicking on the link, once bitten twice shy Lol
  20. there is no excuse in my book. Green has made his billions by using our workforce and custom. It is only down to clever accountants that he has avoided taxes that the rest of the population can't. If he didn't trade here there are others that would fill his boots.
  21. You have no shame. For the 2ND time you have robed from family businesse schools charities etc, hang your head.
  22. I dont think they had been paid when the CVA was voted on or when it went to court. In fact it was Pompey fans who paid some of the charities back, not Chanrai
  23. it wasn't the whole away end but 1 is too many. I suspect it was 25% of them and the rest abhorred their actions. There were many letters in the Echo from their fans apologising. I know that Ho is right for a change as if the boot was on the other foot there would be many of ours who would do the same. of course they will forever say that the pompey fans started it.
  24. Weston, Terry the builder would have lost very little if anything. He would have supplied materials and some workforce and added his profit margin, the debt would then have been put against his tax. Add to the free publicity and he is more than quids in.
