Well he was in the squad and it was between KD or Tessem who took the last place on the bench
-
I saw that on SSN Torquay had turned down an offer for their centre half by an unnamed L1 club

DVD arrived this morning. Lol Sending off was missed by cameraman, got a good view of the linesmans legs though. -
tell him that he should come back for a third time. I for one would be pleased as he would give us that edge against the big back lines we will face if go up to the CCC. Of course at present there is no chance but in a couple of years

I think you have the worng player, it was not KD

no 1 is the main reason why we are where we are where we are now. The Drogba situation was down to us not getting international clearance, i dont know about Saha and Malbranque but I do recall we the rumours were we were trying to buy De foe. Tessem was chosen ahead of KD for the cup final and that was more important on the day when we were trying to get an equaliser, especially as their back line was weakened and another big forward would hvae been better to have been brought on instead of the powder puff Tessem.
-
some of that was down to the manager not rating him. WGS was a fitness man and should have worked on that as Allardyce soon got him up to scratch. Man management is so important and I felt KD never had an arm put round him and told that he was a top player. Self confidence can be very brittle even with pro footballers and that is why some do well at certain clus and not at others.

thinking about his return when he plays for Bolton tuesday. Strachans decision to let him leave on a free was probably one of the worst mistakes of his tenure (playing Tessem instaed of Davies in the cup final as well) Davies has gone on to prove himself as a top PL striker and he was not used enough by WGS. i do understand that BT was on fire but KD was a massive loss

I can't make my mind up about AP. I think we need as a club to get stability and give a manager time , but if NC has doubts and is withholding funds as he wants a another to spend the money then he should act and not leave the club in limbo while he waits for the fans to turn on the manager. If AP and Nc do have a working rleationship and they are BOTH in on the way this is being handled then fine.

CS Im glad you are still posting. It does seem that they are going to bleed to death by 1000 cuts , but this is one cat that has more than 9 lives

Alps i did not go to the game and so refrain from giving opinions on the performance. From the reports from my family members and fans from on here who went said that, we should have scored 2-3 goals before we did. orient scored form their only chance in the first half (de ja vu Plymouth game) we were not as good after they equalised but still should have won if not for some good goalkeeping. I alos am frustrated that we have not won as yet, but I hope the club do as we both wish and sign some quality then we will sonn be up and running. The concensus is that we need to improve pace on the wings, a back up of a big centre forward and a midfielder. If we get those then it will be good. As at least another has said , it is better to start slowly and have a good end to the season as we have all seen the early pacesetters drift away. it will lessen the pressure if we are not topo right from the start and will soften expectations.

I cna't see why Wilson was rated so highly. He was absolute gash when he played against us in the Cup.Im surprised that anyone is prepared to pay 2m let alone 3m!!

that would be quite difficult if you took her to court for assault, imagine beaten up by a woman from an orchestra!!! It just doesn't sit right does it, you'd never expect a woman from that field ever to be aggressive.

Lol Stu, wasn't it you who that was refraining to get a S/t as you had better things to do as the installment -plan had been withdrawn

It must be great to be carefree and confident enough to go and see the world and then get back to life in your early 20's. I worry that this generation don't understand that there are millions upon millions of young people the world over looking to take these kids meals/jobs. The western world has to wake up or we will be the sweat shops for the world in the future.

not likely to happen but I would do my utmost not to hit her but restrain her. Of course there would be extreme exceptions, but if it was a case of domestic violence (that in the main what we are talking about) then 100% no.

the lowest of the low to punch a woman. Stu im sure this is made up and just one of your wind-ups

well if the attendance figure is being used to equate how much respect is given to ML then it is not just about guessing how bums are on seats. The thrust was going on about how bad it was that fans were not turning up as Markus had sadly passed away. As i stated 20k is still a great attendance for L1 and should not be seen as a negative. There was never going to be a full house for Orient
-
why is the attendance such an issue.? It is a L1 game against L1 opposition. To get crowds of 20k is marvellous and those of us moaning about fans not turning up in memory and thanks should look at themselves if they did not take time off work and make the effort to go to the memorial service. I didn't go, but ML will forever be in my thoughts, i don't need events at the ground to mark my respects and in a way it is an unfortunate distraction (the events)as ML would want us to hit the floor running, not risk falling behind because the players/fans minds are distracted.
