  1. Perhaps he thinks Pomey will get away with it
  2. and his messages in that bloody orange colour, i didn't realise he was a look at me type of bloke
  3. Ok, the one man and his dog must have been disappointed
  4. The Tories have a big problem. Do they advertise how much hiden debt is really there, that could in turn upset the marketrs and the pound or do they stay stmn and try and work through it. Myself Id publish
  5. http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2010/may/18/civil-servants-labour-spending Reckless at a time when everyone knew you had to be prudent. mandelson eh
  6. I still have not seen or heard anything regarding the open topped bus tour and how many wer4e on southsea common to welcome them
  7. notice they will only replace, no cash to give the money back. I wonr if that is legal as if the product is faulty I think that a refund has to be made. W******d must have got some of it caught in his throat.
  8. i have been impressed by Liam Byrne??
  9. Off balance but somebody has to pay...oh let me guess
  10. How many of those are governed by socialists?
  11. Yep the way they are given promotion a year or so before they leave is a disgrace. I see a lot of retired majors and colonels living a great life on big pensions
  12. thanks Chez , an improvement.... there are 40 games there
  13. Perhaps, but do you not think that sometimes the players should actually think 'I need to improvem y strength,' and then ask how to do so
  14. not easy but they had massive amounts of luck in that run. A last minute own goal at Coventry when the pillock jumped with his own player and headed past his keeper. Add the goal that wasnt given against brum. His league record was poor and it would beinteresting to see if their points inproved after his arrival...although that couldnt be hard
  15. Loan is the only way forward if he is to come back.It would be a nonsense to pay stupid wages again in L1 For me he is too slow even this league. Id love ot be proved wrong. He lost his way when there was talk of him being an England ?south african player for this WC
  16. his legs are no bigger than the shaft of a wooden spoon,
  17. Grant's record is what since he got to Pompey. It is all on the back of a fortunate cup run.He arrived when they were bottom and they stayed there Lolo
  18. We have a relaxed attitude, but I rely on pride and so last year my side were exemplary. Just something you feel you can do some kick about in. I did not do all the pre match running a exercises Phils team did as with 30 mins to go its a bit late to try and get yourself fit. Stretching and a bit of gentle warming up, followed by who can kick the ball hardest in the general direction of the goal and row z. Frankly the manager has little input except having the authority of pushing into the front of the queue for sandwiches. I was fortunate to have a superb team of characters who gelled and made my life so easy. Fabulous to a man and I know the same can be said this season. A lot of my team are still there (although Steve knicked a couple, b'stard) and they will make the new players feel at home in our unit. There is some building work being done in our changing rooms, the showers mainly but Im reliably informed it still will be fantastic.
  19. Why? surely there are plenty of decent players who are out there
  20. As much as I want this to happen, I cannot see anyway the HMRC will be allowed to do so. Their stance softened the moment Brown opened his mouth about 'this historic football club etc' The media inthe main think Pompey are innocent (the fans and players) and will bleat on how wrong it is.
  21. shows how dim a lot of them are, after insulting one of their own they still voted the mp in. Lol That shows how entrenched the support is in those regions. I have to give it to Labours party political broadcast on the eve of the election. Having celebrities post their votes and then staring at the camera, and showing their disapproval of any thought of changing sides. Very clever and got into the soul of a lot of Labour voters who may have been thinking of voting a way their family would not have ever done in the past. The all had a look of dont you dare think about it.
  22. Im not sure was that before you told us about holding an umbrella for Woods ex misses....................................................................a modern day Sir Francis Drake............ Charlie Drake more likely
  23. I think Lord Triesman has got his info wrong and it was not the Spanish and Russians but the Sandeaters trying to sort the Forum match result
  24. Then if this is the case POmpey have got away with it. I suspect the majority of footballl fans would take a few seasons pain for the journey they have had the past few seasons. it is outrageous
