That IMO has been the talks for the last few days. They have been looking at the books readying for a bid to the administrator or even setting this up. Storrie saying he is staying, tells me he has got the nod. It is prepacked and a dodge to avoid justice IMO...what a surprise

I played it twice and beat it twice Ron Davies and Roger Chapman (singer)

Begbies traynor expert on the Pompey News Does this mean they will break the club up and sell it off? A: No. The administrator's main role is to try to find a buyer, who can repay the club's debts. The debts are ring-fenced, which means it's not the administrator's role to pay them. They will be paid from money the company is paid, such as for transfers or money from the Premier League, and the cash from its sale. The administrator must get the best possible value for the club, and that means maintaining its assets. Portsmouth's greatest asset is as a football club with a place in a league. Its sale on that basis will be much more profitable than breaking it up and selling it piecemeal. Well when Begbies Traynor were dealing with us, I cant recall them saying that then.

Now that would seem fair, but as people have said to me, who says the law is fair?

Derry please do not keep comparing a L1 teams abilities to Man u. I wasn't there last night and so cannot comment on the amount of crosses. If Antonio played then his job is to get to the byeline and cross (or if not to the byeline still cross) same goes for any of our wide men. I myself dont think that lambert is that good in the air, he competes but doesnt dominate (Ilike him as a player a great deal). I think he didnt play as the front man at Rovers but just behind the attacker. perhaps we need a Rob Hulse type forward and Lambert alongsode to feed off the hoofs.

In my mind Hammond should be one of the first on the team list. I prefer him to Morgan, but that's football for you.

Passing and pretty football does not overcome hard work week in week out. You need the mix of the good and ugly, that is where our club and some fans have missed the point since relegation from the PL. You need a couple of brute centre halves , tough tackling midfielders who run and run and then a lump of a centre forward with a moore mobile player alongside to pick up the pieces.

Even Rooney couldnt convert a lot of our crosses. The only goal Ive seeen Rooney score with his head was the one in the CL last week where the ball was flung in from 25 yards out. I do except that the rest may have come from Nani or Giggs etc. I also believe we should get to the byeline. My father always was saying that a winger should either head fro the bye line to cross or gewt into the box where the defender is under pressure and the odds improve for the winger to get the ball across or get a penalty. We played open football for a great deal last season and were caught time and again with a sucker punch and then this when we were winning 3-1 there were complaints because we were getting goals against. It is a delicate balance we are not Man u who have quality but a L1 side who are facing in the main battlers. Yes hoofball is not the way to play but if we win who cares? im sure Colchester are not moaning too much. Basically we all want a winning team who play mouthwatering football, sadly NO team does so week in week out. It is work in progress, but i also will become impatient if we do not start to look like the real deal ready for next season.

you'd moan about him as well Derry, as his players dont get to the byeline or the keeper is just a shot stopper lol

my favourite bit is the girl advertising 'Have you got debt problems'

Where is Clapham and Bucks Saint? They both must come up against such things but have gone AWOL, come back we need your insight (not saying some others on here have not, but these are professionals in this field) Even if you use another name, come back

If the judge has ordered the Soa because she thought they were trading illegally , it seems a nonsense the said company can trade on (illegally) only then to pull the plug just before the day of judgement. Then able to move on without any investigation to trade again, without that debt. Surely the judge has to view and judge whether she was correct or not?

Reading the stuff about the pre pack administration and I can see why Storrie says he will still be at the club. That system is a cheats charter and is a very unjust way of business practice. Yes it is nice for people to keep their jobs but what about the companies employees who may lose theirs due to bad debts. If it was saints i would be ashamed, and I was when we went into admin as a lot of small companies lost out.

Pompey will get -9 on friday and then win at Burnley you can see it. So who is going to start the texts on friday 'its warm in southampton but -9 in Pompey'
-
I have only seen the result and read a few reports on here. Iam not going to start having a go at the manager, but I do think we can now stop using the -10 points as an excuse. Add those to our total and we would still be 9 points off a play off spot. I am still backing AP Tjhe biggest plus I can see is another clean sheet....also at the start of the season I would have taken what we have got , mid-table and a trip to Wembley
-
Pompey had 4m the other week that they offered HMRC that should cover the wages. I do wonder what HMRC next move is, they would have expected the administration route.
-
Thanks Querty Read the comments below, they still think Storrie is a goodie. It is hilarious. Im amazed an administrator would leave him there. Of course the administrator xcan be steered clear of certain things and also the staff will be very wary to whistle blow with him still there.
-
a few points. Storrie will have to step down aka RL did. The administrator will then be able to assess if there has been any criminal activity I assume. Chanrai saying he will cover costs, does that also include the wage bill? If so and it takes a couple of months to find a buyer his 17m will look pretty sad. Surely any future parachute and money comong from competition can be alloted to all the creditors.
-
Ive just spent 10 minutes going back over my posts to try and find this.LOl
-
they will be available for the FA cup, it would be best if they didnt progress any further.
-
Who sponsor the PL....that may well give you an answer
-
We love any Pompey Corpse , Mackrill
-
I can tell you on good authority that RL was told by the top london lawyers that the League could not give us the -10 penalty .
-
As they are likely to be in administration are they still guarenteed the parachute payments and also their money from the PL season? Could the PL hold that money for their football related debts .I suspect they are due those monies but I thought Id ask. I would expect that the administrator will immediately send back any loan players to help cut the wage bill
