If any of the detractors were at salisbury in the pre season friendly , as Henderson took the team with AP watching you would have put us down to having less points than Pompey now. We were dire, bereft of fight, desire, skill, organisation and players with any idea. To see how AP has got the team to now is amazing. If he could improve us another 20% by this time next season with a 2 or 3 more shrewd signings, many will be eating their words.

i bought the Skids version when it forst came out and is far better than the U2 thing

The way they stagger on and the bad news has dried up for them , I think if they only suffer relegation they have got away with. If Chanrai does find some mugs to buy them then my concern justice has not been served has come to pass. The high profile of tghem being in the FAcup semi final could make them seem a prospect form people looking in from afar. Chanrai a very astute businessman was caught and so why not others. AA has not gone about the administration the way i suspected it would have happened and so my concerns grow. How on earth are they paying their bills when there income must be negligable through the gate. Perhaps the cup money is going a long way

Burnley v Citeh. Would you leave early if it was Saints?
OldNick replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
I do if it is a c### film, have you tried to sit through St Trinians lol As for the Carlisle fans singing, yes they did but the game was over and the fantastic support was waiting for the final whistle, when does a team have a 4 goal lead in a cup final? If the game was tight then you would have seen the fans still behind the team right to the end. It was a odd feeling, knowing we had won with 30 minutes to go and so like the team we were playing out time -
thanks, he was a nutter but the boers are a very hard and extreme set of people. My friend who visits SA often, always said that they treat the black people on their staff as though they are not there.

i normally move out when we get to injury time. I think I couldnt face watching us 5 down at half time but I suspect i would stay to the end. -
is he the man who Louis Theroux visited on one of his shows?

5 or 6 pints of brandy perhaps

after Hillsborough Bradford Heysel and pre the PL hype all clubs faced reduction on crowds. How many S/t are you going to sell next season Ho? afterall there was going to be an increase on the 13500 on last seasons this..lol

Im sure it is no different to when we are doing well. A swindon fan hung his scarf in his window across the road from my business after we lost to them. They will need to survive without their forwards when clubs come sniffing for them
-
when Stelling asks him to count the players by his fingers that perplexed him even more as he could do the teams and subs on his lol
-
DD that type of comment is why our fans are disliked and seen as arrogant and also why our fans are so deluded.Swindon have a solid defence, a good mobile and combatative midfield and a very good pair of strikers. It is about time you stopped looking down on clubs and showed respect, then you would be much happier in life

The dj must have only done outside events or for the hard of hearing, or after spending 30 minutes in that place you became hard of hearing. It was ridiculously loud and perhaps hs enthusiasm to please flowed over. The youngsters with me are used to London and southern clubs but were dismayed at the volume and the mixing of songs as well as the inane shouts from the dj. I dont doubt he was paid nothing and like the guests he has been shafted , Im sorry about that. NI has lost a lot of sympathy as this story unfolds. As for the spin about the majority having a good time sheeeeesh

It always amuses me that the fans players when not selected will play a blinder and be the difference. You are not a manager and it is only opinion that you believe he has not picked the best team. That is football, look at the threads when we choose what team to put out and there are loads of different teams selected. Last sunday, due to AP's guidance we had a wonderful day at Wembley and tasted winning something. After supporting Saints for over 40 years I have seen us win the FA cup, the Daily Express five a side tournemont (on Sportsnight with Coleman)..oh promotion (as runners up) and now the JPT so excuse me for being defensive of the manager who gave me that wonderful moment.

After watching saints for 40years im surprised you believe that we would walk any league. I have likewise watched saints for just over 40 years and accept that unless you are one of the big four it does not come easy.Leeds have been in this league for about four seasons, they are just as big as us and in fact have been in postition to get promoted but fallen at the final hurdle. Like Forest who also are a big club it took a long time. I dont concur that ML has spent a lot of money on players, yes he made a few big money signings (for this league) but it was only to cover the players lost when we went into freefall. Add the upping of performance as clubs want to put one over on the big fry and you get a problem winning easily. I would have taken safety and Wembley 6 months ago, and so perhaps too forgiving, next season I may not be if we are not in the top 8 by christmas. The last thing the club needs is a change of manager and the fans on the teams back if we are not top of the league. To be there or there abouts with 10 games to go is what we need to be and then put in the charge at the end. Ive seen too many frontrunners fall at the final hurdle due to high expectations over the years. Also we are still that not great a side as there are too many nearly players in our team.

There was a combination thta cost us. First and most importantly was starting on minus 10, that was a daunting start and after 6 or 7 games it looked that we may be in a relegation fight.Once we had stabilised and got into positive territory we started to move up. The League cup and FA cup runs did not help, it would have been best if we had got knocked out of the FA cup frst round as the run became a distraction .especially the Pompey game. Add the JPT and you see it was one of many reasons. I will never regret the JPT run as it gave the floating fans the reason to support and watch us again, add the great feeling it gave not only the fans but the city and you have somethhing money can't buy.

he's hardly Beckenbauer, most teams in this league have a combination of useful midfield harriers who can pass. When you have PW as the anchorman you are going to struggle. I like his heart but he is at the end of his career. Gillette would be much better added to the midfield if MS is unfit.

surely not ,the majority were really happy. I think NI may feel uncomfortable at a few matches in the future as disgruntled fans find him. It is unfortunate he is unwell at present, I dont wish illness on him
-
post the pics on here, then perhaps some of the told you so's will see that it was a disgrace, better still send them to the Echo and they might then not let NI get away with the 'the majority had a great day'
-
Just reading that garbage makes you feel ill. I was prepared to give NI some slack but him coming on and making out the fans drunk too much!!! lol. They couldnt get to the bars to be able to. It even says the doors were advertised to open at 9 and fans turned up at 9.30. No the fans were left waiting until 9.30 for them to open the doors. COYR will never manage to get the confidence of the fans by shirking when mistakes are made.

We dont use relatives or payments to win games, it is blood sweat and tears. If Fos wanted to play for us then that is fine but Granty has come up with a new scheme. To be fair whoever plays will have a great night and if they have the honour of taking the field with my team of stars their night will only be superb. Got rid of your cold yet, I had hoped you were still waiting for a taxi
-
the problem with that is that Spurs have the classic 'we will walk this' type of mentality in their squad that they could well underrate them and fall for it
