Is that the case of whether they were correct in going into admin or settle the HMRC so the high court move off. I suggest that there are some despereate attempts to get the money to the HMRC at all costs so they dont have that court date and their paperwork does not need to be taken to court.

the sale and leaseback was not done.... but how could it be if Chanrai has a floating charge on it? It all gets murkier and murkier the shadow has become larger rather than diminished IMO
-
So can we conclude that the formality of finding the papers is not so straight forward? Or the cup run has given them a bit of breathing space?
-
PES you are not in a final but semi final. I have been there and seen us lose twice, not at wembley I grant you (in itself having the wsemis at wembley devalues the final) and I promise you it is really sickening.

Spades we won't knoe until bthe night how it pans out. Just that the team I managed last year has had 3 players taken of which one was chosen as motm and 2 defenders. My forward line has lost the main goalscorer Of course the players coming in may well be as good if not better,. Not a perfect scenario especially as we had a fantastic team spirit. I look forward to leading yet another great team, but always expect Phil and Granty to pull many underhand tricks to try an win .

Pes if you think losing in a cup semi is a good day out, you are going to have a bit disappointmernt if it happens to you. As for Pompeys situation from my position the FA and PL will have to bale you out in their pathetic stance to try and keep their competitions integrity. Lol I assume if they pay the HRMC all is forgotten. A rotten old world we live in. I can't believe that fans tyhink they deserve a day out, when their club is Imo dishonestly fielding players they should not , in so doing cheating fans from other teams from having that day

That is something that has worried me since he first came to the fore. For some reason he does not know how to strike the ball cleanly when he has a chance. it may be something as taking his eye off the ball for a split second. It really is somehting that is needed to be improved very quickly, if he is ever to reach the heights many think he is capable of.

Don't hold back Andy stop being diplomatic

How did we do in those games?
-
Yep it was sad to see Theo drowning and not knowing how to survive. AL I think does have a football brain, but somehow thinks a flick or clever touch masks other missing parts to his game.
-
AL's position is very important as well, and a more traditional worker and player in that position would be better IMO. I love watching lovely football but you have to earn the right to play it that way
-
To be fair AP said this week something about racehorse that doesnt like mud, and so he knows the problem
-
Nope but I was hoping he would and we could perhaps stiffen the team in that important area
-
Thanks phil i need something to cheer me after today
-
No it is not down to us, but as you know the fans turning on the manager is a powerful force that changes the whole dynamics of our clubs fortunes.
-
+ 1 I have stated that AL is a luxury that a L1 club cannot afford, and he would be better served if he did leave for better pastures. We need a less flashy player. This is not a pop at AL but just that perhaps he would be better served in the CCC where he may get a little mote time to play his tricks.

Alps sadly your consistant stance over the time I have been reading this and S4ever has been to snipe away at the club. I accept (IMO)that it is down to frustration, but it does get peoples hackles upo and so no wonder some think you do it for attention or trolling. No manager wins every game
-
I fear that the years of changing the manager every few months has taught us SFA. I think it is time the fans grew some balls and accept that we are a provincial football club and greatness is never going to happen. Yes AP has had the privilage to manage and spend a bit on our squad, and results like today are disappointing but for heavens sake when do we stop wanting to change the manager every time a poor result comes around? I think this self destruct button should be held back until we see how the team shapes up after the first 15 games of next season.
-
As much as anything he should have the social services look at him. No parent in thier right mind would take your children to a game wearing your hated rivals kit and sit near the away fans. Can you imsgine what could happen if he was seen walking form the ground and seen by a few who are not above attacking anyone in a Pompey shirt.
-
Im glad you are so confident. I have read so many times that it is game over and since the day I was on here and saw 'Lol Pompey scored, own goal ' in the last minute at Cov i have had a bad feeling their cup luck had returned. If no wrong doing is very obvious , i think they will be baled out by the PL/FA in their desperation to keep their tarnised comps to be saved.
-
It will take a hell of a judge to kill them off now. The pressure will be intense from all sections of the media. I understand the law of the land and all that, but they live a charmed life. There seems to be one law for us and special laws for the PL. I expect a fudge after fudge and time given until they get out of it. We now have the PL and FA needing them to survive, it will be in their interests now to pay the HRMC off to keep both the 'competitions integrity' Lol. The media are happy for them to carry on and i suspect most people outside So postcodes dont care. They are playing on an unfair playing field but Brum did not object and the FA have turned a blind eye. they are going to come out of it, as I cant see any toast at present.

Minty,I can';t believe it, FFS you have thrown the home team into complete disarray. I do hope that the fear of my hairdryer at half time has put you off, Sebastian (my hairdrier) was looking forward to getting his hands on you. I dont know if we have been weakened or strengthened with your withdrawal, although after the way Granty has been plying the team selection Im fully expecting Steven Hawking to be playing at right back.
-
did anyone see the Burnley chairman on sky sports when talking about Pompey and said 'the football family and should be helped' Where was the football family for Leeds saints B'moiuth Chester etc..oh of course the PL football family
-
I heard a small snippet from South Today and Im sure they said the PL were going to help Pompey. Pompey are going ot get away with it.
-
I dont know what others in the administrator world think but are they surprised that the loan players have not been dispatched yet to help reduce the bills. He seems to be carrying on like they were before
