As there was no sign saying ti was Silverspoons they could well still be driving around looking for it

I didnt watch it through as i dont wish to see innocent kids killed. Of course us sitting in our basically safe surroundings behind computers can make these humnae judgements. The group of men did look to be carrying weapons and I suspect even the mstupidest civilian would realise standing in groups, crouching behind buildings and armed is asking for trouble. The helicopter guys had a responsibility to their comrades on the ground as well as the fear a RPG would be aimed in their direction any moment. As for the kids, that is sick but how many have shot allied troops when they were off guard, it is dofferent society and different rules. I notice 2 woman were suicide bombers, what if that was a group of woman and were hiding explosives. would it be Ok to fire at them?

To all those who think we can wait for next season for promotion
OldNick replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
If Celtic want him let them buy him at a premium. it is a team game and for far too many years we have failed as we have had a demi god and when they havethen fall to pieces. AL is not crucial to our promotion, we can replace any of our players in this league as we have the resources. -
I cannot see us winning 7 more games in a row.
-
I was also surprised that the crowd was given as such a low figure. I assume the away following was less than 1500, but that is not excuse when 50k saints fans made the journey to Wembley so they should have made it today.

His throws were good and caused problems.

Marrying a Skate....ouch

Similar to WGS playing Fernandes on wrong side.It worked s he did set up the second goal. I dont think they swapped flanks today like they do normally.
-
Lol I do hope WGS doesnt play him again this season

Under par performance. Morgan Semi and Puncheon all out of sorts. We were there for the taking today, fortunately AL saved the day. I have criticised AL on a few occasions, but that is due to my frustration that he could play the way he did today more often. Well done Adam more of that football please. Kelvin saved us 2 points with his brilliant 1 handed save. i was right in line and I was certain the ball was going in the top corner until KD saved. Motm AL not that there was much to beat to be fair ps I also heard the text re Alps GS and Stu. I dont understand why on this occasion Stu got stick!!

Apparently EC is the promoter ,who is a Pompey fan. He got a nice slice of the ticket money. NI or Coyr would have delat with him direct

brown is a scot, when did they want our players to be fit! even his own manger doesnt care if he makes it to SA

Northam club is a lot classier IMO. I agree perhaps we fools who coughed out a tenner a ticket should have googled or looked up Which magazines top hotspots at Wembley' edition but fell for the Echo and a fellow Saints fan doing the leg work. NI is fighting a rearguard action and is probably stuffed as he knows he can't give a full refund to all the fans who turned up as he has nil chance of getting a penny back from the organisers. I suspect that fans best chance is to send complaints to Paypal and their credit card companies , who will know of the problems by now and be expecting to repay a large amount of people. Time will tell, but to get into bed with a Skate who then rips his fellow fans off is lamentable

Interesting read. i notice few are knocking this site in the comments. NI has not said what their profit margin was, why Pompey were getting the same venue for £6 a pop. As for saying well there was a burger van nearby is just laughable. No mention of Saints players advertised then not turning up. If he knew he was dealing with some low life organsiers why take the risk? It is very sad how it has turned out, I have always known NI love of Saints, what amazes me is that he has risked that for a quick profit. I do agree with him that fans talking about his footbaling ability is laughable, and has no relevance. The point is Trading standards will take short thrift of his defence and the Echo must feel fairly suckered by the promotion and what they advertised to their readers.

Wes in the real world that adds up, but how long now have we been told that they are toast? They got through the winding up order, when they were toast, they got through to the cup semi when they were toast, they have gone into admin and then fully expected to be toast. It seems to me the only thing that has been toast is Vantis's SOA as it seems to have been forgotten by the administrator and he somehow is finding ways to keep the club going. It is something David Blaine would not be able to conjure up

If any of the detractors were at salisbury in the pre season friendly , as Henderson took the team with AP watching you would have put us down to having less points than Pompey now. We were dire, bereft of fight, desire, skill, organisation and players with any idea. To see how AP has got the team to now is amazing. If he could improve us another 20% by this time next season with a 2 or 3 more shrewd signings, many will be eating their words.

i bought the Skids version when it forst came out and is far better than the U2 thing
-
The way they stagger on and the bad news has dried up for them , I think if they only suffer relegation they have got away with. If Chanrai does find some mugs to buy them then my concern justice has not been served has come to pass. The high profile of tghem being in the FAcup semi final could make them seem a prospect form people looking in from afar. Chanrai a very astute businessman was caught and so why not others. AA has not gone about the administration the way i suspected it would have happened and so my concerns grow. How on earth are they paying their bills when there income must be negligable through the gate. Perhaps the cup money is going a long way

Burnley v Citeh. Would you leave early if it was Saints?
OldNick replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
I do if it is a c### film, have you tried to sit through St Trinians lol As for the Carlisle fans singing, yes they did but the game was over and the fantastic support was waiting for the final whistle, when does a team have a 4 goal lead in a cup final? If the game was tight then you would have seen the fans still behind the team right to the end. It was a odd feeling, knowing we had won with 30 minutes to go and so like the team we were playing out time -
thanks, he was a nutter but the boers are a very hard and extreme set of people. My friend who visits SA often, always said that they treat the black people on their staff as though they are not there.

i normally move out when we get to injury time. I think I couldnt face watching us 5 down at half time but I suspect i would stay to the end. -
is he the man who Louis Theroux visited on one of his shows?
