  1. As HR has now stated that in his contract, the tax authoriites should look at all player sales with a fine tooth comb. They could soon see if some payments were not made and then ask 'where did that money go, and to which accounts?' This does explain why we bought nobody when he was here. RL conducted trhe dealings and so little room for HR to move
  2. its working now, thanks Ginge there must have been a lot looking at it
  3. that doesnt want to load, not linked to the official site I suppose Lol
  4. What can Gaydamek do? He said he would not press and so he will have to wait. Of course the Pompey owners will take advantage of his weakness if he lets them. They look as though they have him by the short and curlies
  5. I assume it depends on how much james wants to play for England. He is in the best negotiating position as he has it in his contract already.Funny if he gets the deal and then doesnt go to the WC. i think Hart will be a surprise call up.
  6. Fair replies. I think the only thing that Pompey fans in the main can be accused of is being unable to see who the real culprits have been. It is ok pointing at the new lot but Storrie Redknapp and even MM have been a major part of the downfall. MMM got out when he did as he could see what was coming, even when Gaydamek took over the press were starting to report the massive debts the club had. I understand that fans were then led to believe that the Russian was going to pick up the bill, patently you and the rest of us were deceived, Tony Blair has rivals to how to hoodwink
  7. I and others questioned MW and mentioned then that he was betting black hoping that red didnt come up. I have seen many fans interviewed and marching asking 'where has all the money gone?' Do they not know basic finance that when you give 80k a week to Crouch the rest would be on much the same. That the ground if full would generate how much against this? That the 80k a week, is every week, summer winter and fall. In a way a complete end to the club and starting from scratch may just be the best thing. There is a hard core of fans who like myself have given many years and they will not desert you, and at least you could feel cleansed because I suspect it is getting you down knowing how things are there.
  8. I think that the majority of Pompey fans deserve the Police to look into all that has gone on. I expect certain ex managers would be very against an indepth search.
  9. off shore tax codes might be a bit more confusing.
  10. I think it is churlish for fans to say that not having a sponsor on is because we asked too much. The club could still have a sponsor for 100k and still make a big fuss of the 125 thing and sell loads of commemorative shirts. I like the idea of no sponsor on the shirt
  11. FF ,I really am torn. The utmost thing is that I think justice needs to be seen to be done. Football is fast becoming a disgrace and Iam starting to feel embarrassed being a football fan again. We have our so called Premier sporting league disregarding the small businesses who are being screwed so that they can look a good brand. I like many others have had to sit through and watch Pompey overspend and buy honours that were totally unjustified. If it is so easy to have a squad of all stars on 15-20k gates then all the clubs could do it. The league has stood by and watched and they are as guilty of watching over it as many at PFC. Sadly the Pl is fast becoming the cess pit of owners who want a football club as a status symbol and dont have the love of the game like most fans on here and even the ones down the road. I dont blame them for enjoying their time in the sun but i do object to their whining now it is falling apart. (that is not aimed at PES or Merovingian etc )
  12. I myself cant see why these people buy into Pompey. I think the PL is quickly losing its shine. I doubt that many of our top 4 clubs players would get into Barcelona or Real Madrids side, whilst in reverse most would. Add the fact that there are now so many small town clubs up there that its appeal must be eroded somewhat. If Pompey stay up then they are buying a PL club in the league only , nothing else. Why they dont buy their sister club in Wigan who are safer I really cant understand
  13. Reach for the Sky... money
  14. you just know that they will get out of it. They have been tetering too long and not going under. Russian mafia no doubt looking to use the same old path. Another slice of luck for them was that they were one a the very few clubs who actually sold players, amazing considering how few fees were done during the window.
  15. I cant work out how they could have walked away from those debts.Just shows they know every trick in thebook to avoid their responsibilites.
  16. I wonder where they have that registered, and how can they afford the lawyers?
  17. Pompey still have a squad that should pick up more than 6 points than at least of 3 teams in that list. I think they have Wolves and Hull home and Bolton Burnley away. I have maintained all along they will stay up...unless they go pop or admin calls.
  18. does dindanes retrun count? The manager and storrie will say it is like having a new signing Lol They still will beat us in the cup
  19. Will they worry about something in a years time? I suspect the 3m is far more important now as it could be used to pay next months wages. I feel loathe to buy a cup ticket as I know 40% will be going to their coffers.
  20. Good idea as there is going to be a headlong rush to try and be number 10000. Or as decent people we should let one of our resident Skates have the honour.
  21. No I haven't spoken to him personally but read why he turned down Spurs. Your post made out that he was desperate not to leave his spiritual home at FP, when all he was doing was trying to ensure first team football.
  22. Are you Storrie? He does want to go but he requires first team football......oh and his wages paid on time. The transfer window has been perfect to save the club as you can cash in, when the window shuts then what? I myself cant see what people see in Kaboul the little I have seen of him was a player who was very inconsistant and liable to some bad errors. HR has waved his majic dust and the Spurs fans dont see what is happening, his blunderbuss buying approach of getting loads of players in, 30% being good the rest just about making the first team. The good ones make him look a great judge while the rest are lost in the squad for when he is down to the bare bones. Spurs wage bill must make eyes water. even though they get double your gates they must still feel it.
  23. it seems they are throwing every penny into PL survival , if they manage to do so they will get out of all their problems. they must have something up their sleeves re the winding up orders
  24. Surely the Pl should also find the article
