We have a few who work in the administrator field on this site and they felt Pompey were goners (as well as Mark fry and other administrators in the media), not getting 2nd 3rd or 4th reprieves. well this is a surprise this morning to read that after all it seems they will come out of admin with a CVA. So relegation from the PL and 2 cup final visits, including at least 1 victory. Doiesnt seem to me they have had any real sanctions and I suspect every clubs fans in the country barring perhaps 4-5 would take that pain to have the memories. Add the fact they also have the majority of the countries fans sympathy lol. The majority of Pompeys fans are fairweather, and so they will be Popey til they reach another final, but they will be there and will be more than happy with this season.They have beaten us and got to Wembley...toast I dont think so. The only toast will be to that registrar for not doing her job and fudging when she should have pulled the plug. very dark forces have been in play.

Lol, but Im impatient. People have been telling me this for months now. In that time they have not only beaten my chosen football team bt Brum and Spurs. In that time they have visited Wembley and are going back again, and had wonderful experiences doing so. I wish Saints had domne the same so my kids could have lived the dream, they have lived the dream far more than Leeds and still are alive and kicking.

I know many on here dont like what i say but from their fans perspective many would have taken 2 Cup finals and then go down a leaqgue or 2.I suspect there are many Saints fans who would swop a couple of lifetime memeories for a bit of pain. Pompey have so far got away with it, and I goan hope that they will recieve full justice when i see Clapham still confident that they are toast. From here it seems a long way away, and if I had my way the doors would have been shut and the keys thrown away. That would be justice, not fielding players they cannot rightly afford , who have played and got thewm through to the FA cup final. They have a chqance to lift the cup again, something clubs who have played by the rules may never get...justice what justice?

Perhaps what i say is drivel, but how many times have we been told they are finished? Some very good judges have been proved wrong so far about this business and the Administrator instead of losing costs has appointed a new CEO, that would increase their costs not lose them. I have been very cauious about the trumpetting of their demise as they keep wriggling. I have not bothered to go back and look at your posts pre the high court case, but if you were then saying they were toast or goners you were at that time yourself talking drivel as it turned out incorrect. When they go out of the cup perhaps your prediction will come to pass but the sheer audacity of how things are going seem to go against all laws of business practice. I have yet to see anyone who seems to be able to give a full account of why. That is not a criticism of anyone but just shows how things are in this case

Ho , it is not 4 months unpaid tax and NI. You are doing yourself an injustice if you really believe that the HMRC have got their figures wrong.It is years of avoidance, hence the many warnings and the HMRC at the end of their tether after Pompey kept renaging on their rescheduled payments.Your calculations are saying that the HMRC get 3m a month NI and tax. As I have pointed out before and many others in the media nad on here , you spent and bought well above your means. You will not see it and argue against me but your club bought the FA cup by fielding a side you could not afford. In doing so your fans and club had their time in the sun, at the same time depriving fans of other clubs who were prudent, of having those days and memories. I have seen a few of your fans say that the FA cup win was worht it and so if you get severe punishment then perhaps some justice will be seen to be done. If you have the FA cupwin and only relegation, i suspect most fans of football clubs would take that.

I cant see the FL clubs voting in favour of that as it gives the relegated teams such an advantage

and every week they are......how many weeks have they been toast but somehow squirm out of it? If they were under the same business rules the rest of us have to adhere to then I'd agree, but weeks ago they should have turned the oxygen off, but somehow they stick in there. My head tells me they will come to a sticky end but they certainly keep showing signs of life. Getting relegated is not my idea of them getting their comuppence, and if that is all they get they have shafted everyone. Next week if they go out of the cup we may then see the meltdown but boy it gets tedious waiting for the excitement.When was that High Court winding up order heard???
