  1. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1243828/Do-men-control-Portsmouth-want-football-club-superstore.html By this piece that was posted the other day. That shows how the land is already mortgaged to its value. The courts will surely see this as another dodge.
  2. are you confident that the PL or another will notstep in and pay the Revenue.? I just see too much self interest amongst the other clubs for this not to happen. Now I might have got this wrong as well, but the PL need to find the money to pay up the revenue only for Pomey to survive til the end of the season. It is not justice but just the typical greedy PL. I do also wonder if the revenue now will have enough evidence to pursue Storrie etc even if the oney is found
  3. Thats fine Weston, if that is the case, it was just put on here somewhere it would help the HMRC get a better position. I would have thought as they took the big financial decision to make the petition they should get a bigger slice.
  4. Yep that would be good, we were lucky we never had Storrie, that would be someone to get het up about. Griffo will be told to target you again, and a year older will mean 5 years slower Mike,. Your legs will be like tangled spagetti after the Griff has nutmegged you time and again. Looking forward to the night again already. Sadly our top striker is not playing the9 has decided not to play, so a big bonus for your lot and a blow for us. Foxy and Griffo will do the business though, with our midfield general Influenced pulling the strings and with the sprightly OOhTerry playing at the back things are looking good.Add to that Um Bongo (this time playing football instead of being the St johns ambulance attendant while you go and score) and Bpsaint also in defence, The Flying Finn's bravery in the tackle and the evergreen and versatile Andy Porter , things are looking fine in our camp. I havent seen the full team list, and so dont know who will be my other stars on the night.
  5. Im not up on all these things, but it my understanding from reading some of the articles on here. Nobody has come back and confirmed or denied whether PFC were allowed to submit more info after the deadline on wednesday , as they were reported to be doing thursday.
  6. we should be the home team this time as that is fair. They had the privilage last time. I do understand Granty is organising it and all that but he is a decent fair minded lad and so Im sure he of anyone in their team will play it fair. So the away team is the home team if you see what I mean. PM granty and check he is happy and it is ok, you could make a donation to a charity of the Saintsweb's choice for that position, (no PFC charities though) Of course it will be worth every penny learning under me, you'll learn how to barge into the front of the queue to get the sarnies for 1, and stand back when the round of drinks is being called, a priceless bit of experience.
  7. Im not sure, but I think the winding up order gives you preference
  8. His fisting was the best Ive experienced and he took the high balls without any problem. Our team has got spirit. Again the home team is going to win, but this time with honour and no underhand dodges. You are not Storrie in disguise ,as you certainly know all the tricks.
  9. BP Id be more than happy to have you between the sticks, but as long as you are in my side Im very happy.
  10. No it's not, ive seen his goal keeping that is his normal headwear and would explain a lot come to think of it.....only kidding BP
  11. If Granty is Ok with that, Id be delighted, I had hoped the9 would as well, but I think he is happier watching and giving me abuse from the stands.
  12. so is this a part time gardening leave or full one that only kicks in when you feel there is some good news around the corner? Tomorrow is a must win game for you, and I expect you to get it, after all you will be on a high after beating a 3rd tier side after playing a defensive game and hoping for a break away goal. If you fail to do so then it is going to be difficult to muster a big surge. As I have put to you before I feel you have a good enough squad to stay up, but if the gap becomes 10 points to safety i will then start thinking the writing is on the wall. If you are looking CCC then I suspect your club will never recover as i doubt that these people really do want to face at least 1 season in the CCC and when the authorites finally finish the season the book will fall heavily on your heads I give you a taste of Pompey Transfer Gossip if the season ends as it should. It is reported in the Havant advertiser that Burt Ecclestone is being tracked by Pompey in the East Hants junior leagues, he is deciding whether to join the Blues or Cosham Social club
  13. Storrie has been working tirelessly to save the club Lol...to save his a### more likely.
  14. Oh well you know it was going to happen when they got their 7 day reprieve.Justice may have been thwarted yet again.
  15. Of course it is possible any player sold could (unlikely) also play now in the European competitions if signed. What are the ramifications of them scoring a winner and so putting out a big european side ,as I say unlikely the big clubs would want them, but the PL etc are leaving themselves open for a lot of potential grief. The plus would be if they get -9 for allowing them this privilage.
  16. well he couldnt cope with our lot saturday until we opened up and they brought Owoooooosey on.Then he did well, but from playing against a L1 attack and then Ronaldo etc lollage
  17. It would be ironic if WHU saved Pompey only for them to go down.If they do distort the league by helping them I do hope WH do go down.
  18. HMRC realise they may not get anything in this instance but by winding Pompey up it sends a message out that they will not baulk at winding up any club that owe them money. For decades the revenue have been taken as idiots by most football clubs. They have drawn a line in the sand and so it has sent tremors through the football world. Clubs will now pay up smartly, so in turn in the long run the revenue will get paid
  19. If it gets to the courts Pompey will be seen as trading whilst being insovent and so the PL will not have a team to fulfill those games. If they pay the revenue then the PL will have a team to finish the games. I suspect the Pl will give the option on the vote that they will help Pompey but give them a 9point pealty. That will appease the other clubs around them and also keep the fixtures played. As soon as Pomey have been relegated then the knives will be out in the summer. This to me seems as iof it will run and run, much to our frustration. No club will have the b#### to stand up and say anything. I assume that the courts will not get a chance to say whether they are tradin whilst insovent
  20. I did as well, a rottweiler with lipstick
  21. does anyone know when the next tranche of Sky money is paid?
  22. Ginge show me where I have said Pomey will get relegated and also not stay in business. I have been consistant in that opinion as I can see the PL's desperation for the league to fulfill all its fixtures. No doubt a lot of commercial contracts coud be effected. Their negligence not calling Pomey to task in the summer has led to this mess.
  23. what about about the PL now aiding and abetting the crime of trading whilst insolvent. Lol
  24. Again self interest, it is all about Liverpool getting an advantage. It is the PL putting a spin on it. If the court had been to decide today it would be goodnight, now they have time for other clubs to see the ramifications for them and so are quickly moving to help. I expect the bewst we can hope for is they get a -9 point deduction. If the payment is made to the revenue can I assume the court date is dropped and so 'trading while insolvent' will be not brought about?
  25. But if the window opens do pomey think they are going to get top prices!!!! It is a sale and so the clubs will only buy if the players are cheap or better than they already have.Add in the wages and that is another barrier. I will be amazed if anyone will go out on a limb for any except of course Spurs and all of a sudden West Ham pay over the odds. The club alos should be forced to return their loan players as they are patently playing whilst insolvent.
