  1. There is a difference of getting relegated and playing in the BSL that has been very much been predicted on here. Getting relegated 1 division, stil to fight another day is to my mind 'them getting away with it' They are still going to wembley with a team that they rightly should not be able to field, they still may win that and get to the final. At the same time stopping fans from other clubs who are playing by the rules having their day out. So I believe they are getting away with it big time.
  2. Can you recall their position when they did their escape before. They were doomed until they got the lift of beating us...oh Burnley Hull and Wolves are woeful. Wolves have to go to Fratton, Hull also. The others have a much harder run in. We have fans on here who think that we can make the play offs and we are 15 points behind! I will agree that it is doubtful but look back 50 pages on here and see the posts how Pompey would be dead by now, or toast.
  3. Lol. Unfortunately at this moment in time my prediction is coming to pass
  4. Somebody wake up Clapham saint and Bucks saint who are in the business to give us their inside knowledge of the workings of this process. Also their thoughts why the CEO has been left in place. It was interesting to hear Krasner on Solent and his views. He said' nothing in football surprises 'him when asked about Storrie keeping his job. he did say that the administrator was correct that he couldnt release players.
  5. while the people who may have , I state may have done wrong, are still in office they have the chance to lose the trail of wrongdoing. I still am dumbfounded that the CEO is still in place, I would have thought gardening leave would be the least the admionistrator would put him on.
  6. You've got it. I assume by that comment Minty is a decent player then?
  7. You will be Minty, I was thinking of asking for a minutes applause before the game in respect.
  8. So if SSN are correct do you think they are toast?
  9. Well I hope that justice is properly served.
  10. And so you think -9 (something they are capable of overturning and staying up) is rightful punishment for what they have done????? In my opinion Pompey will be getting away with it if that is their biggest sanction. Yes they may well be relegated, but the people who have seemingly not done things by the book will have not felt the true punishment.
  11. the tickets that have not been issued to the 2 competeing teams go to where? Surely they are not left never to be marketed?
  12. you forgot about the hair dryer. An early warning, but we may be slow leaving the changing rooms and so play with yourselves while you're waiting
  13. Congratulations
  14. If this is true perhaps people will now agree that Pompey will get away with it...as i say if it is true that they have avoided court
  15. Mack, you will enjoy a day out at Wembley on the back of breaking the hearts of many young Brum fans whose club played by the rules, whilst your team have got there by fielding a team that if you played it on an even playing field would not get a sniff. I would not shout about it from the rooftops. I felt shame when Saints went into admin and cost small local businesses much needed revenue. To your clubs shame ,you have done it twice. So go and enjoy your tea while 85 of your compatriots sit at home worrying that they have lost thier jobs and how do they pay their mortgage. Enjoy your day at Wembley, you will have another memory but many of your clubs servants will have scars forever. Shame on you and shame on Pompey.
  16. So the 600 jobs at risk that was said in court has now been shown to be 319 (South Today) Unbeleiveable. Also 2 parties have shown proof of funds. Pompey will get away with it.
  17. Listening to Solent and they said that the 80+redundancies were 25% of their staff. The 600 is yet another of theri exaggerations it may seem. I think of those most were part time. Hardly cutting to the bone as BBC south are broadcasting.
  18. If Lee is taking Mintys place it is a full 90. Lee was really useful last season as he slotted in midfield even though he told me he was a keeper.A good addition to the team and a real bonus.
  19. I do wonder quite why PS is still there. No doubt everything is above board, but if there is the slightest doubt all previous parties should be put on gardening leave. I suspect the termination fees in their contracts are massive nad so that is the reason to be kept on. Justice does not look to be served here, justice as in the people at the bottom losing their jobs while the pigs are still eating at the sty
  20. That's what i thought. It shows that even the change over of name led to confusion and enabled a lot of debt to be left bhind it seems
  21. I of course realised you were not going to play after meeting you last time, I wouldnt trust you to get down to tie your shoelaces without assistance from a medic....only kidding. Great if you can make it to the after match do. Not sure where that will be at present perhaps Dock gate 4 again for starters. I was going to get Tijani Tim to give me some tips on how to stop conceeding late goals.Lol. My plan is to have a loud hailer so i can inform the ref that yet again Phil is putting players on during play without his approval and not thinking it was an injured player coming back on after a slight bit of attention. You really cant trust those sand eaters who come across to manage
  22. just think, every enquiry they would have to check just in case and as they probably are charging an hourly rate, ti would eat into the fees alloted. I wouldnt of course but Im sure some will, and many have the know-how to string it along for quite a few days. I do not condone it by the way. Pes' mate might try, he certainly put up a good case with us. Perhaps he could put forward Vince Hilaire as the Chairman of the syndicate.
  23. it is interesting that when I phoned the ticket hotline today it said there would be a booking fee of 1.50. When ibought tickets it was £3 per ticket. So much for the fans charter and we wouldnt be overcharged etc.
