On this occasion i am on Alps side of the fence sorry StC.

The ricky Lambert song is very good. Im sorry but it is difficult to get new classics like 'knees up mother brown' going around. lol

add pace and decision making to that and you are correct. He looked as good as I have ever seen him play last night, and showed heart and commitment.Well done AL

Lallana is not my type of player for this league. I dont think he has been that good in his defensive and tracking back until last night, and for the first time I really felt he now had the stomach for the fight. i congratlate him for that and hope he carries it on to future games. I can then also put him down then as a must play.. KD position is not a problem to me. Last night he should have come for 2 crosses in the first half, apart from that he made a blinding save when it was 1-0 (?)

barnard every time. He works hard and a natural goalscoring instinct as well as a bit of bite. To liken him to Ormerod is a real slieght Imo

Ginge you could be 100% correct but there have been many false dawns. Until i see they have had there correct punishment i will advocate they are getting away with it. The minus 9 is 99% certain but still not rubber stamped, as soon as I keep reading football people saying that 'why are there points penalties...blah blah blah' I do wonder if there is a crumbling of resolve. The HRMC have changed their stance from wind-up to 'we agree administration is the correct way' (not that wind up is the best solution in my eyes, BSL would suffuce) So i am on the expecting thej to come out of it free of debt and at wembley and avoid relegation until it is proved differently. I recall them minutes from liquidation 10 years ago and then in walked MM, so we have been there before.

I like all this dirty talk , keep it up

Great performance. The crowd on all sides of the ground joined in. Im relishing Wembley and the slow OWTS being sung by 40k saints fans, that will be something to stand the hairs on your nexck on end (no Pompey songs that day I hope) Barnard is the perfect foil for Lambert and has a brilliant football brain as well as RL JP and AL. The first game in a long time where I felt AL was not a luxury player for this league, as he added workrate to his skill. I have defended KD on many occasions but last night I did feel he should have come for a couple of crosses in the first half, apart from that he was again very solid. Lamberts free kick was fantastic and only an unbelieveable save stopped it going in. The Huddersfield fans I have respect for as they travelled a long way on a tuesday night, and so the chant of 'your support is f'in sh##' was a bit out of order. Why a fan is thrown out for wearin a Pompey shirt is a bit of a odd one. I listened to Solent and the read out some texts, I assume somebody was using Alpine Saint as a bit of a laugh. It was something like 'we need to get a foutrth' or something like that lol.

reading and listening to the stuff elsewhere about yesterday and none of it seems to point that Pompey will be toast. It seems this board is the only place where they think that Pompey will get fried. There is a confidence about the administrator that all is well, and afterall he has the facts.I doubt many would come out of the high court looking so confident if they were hiding something. Pompey could go to the high court next time only 2 points away from safety. Would a judge then fold them up knowing that they were only months away from massive tv money? It is a massive decision to put on his shoulders.

thanks

He was a gay campaigner and did a lot for that community apparently

I couldn't see a Mickey Mouse outfit but there a f'ing enormous Pompey Cowboy outfit
-
So if the charge is not valid the court/Chanrai etc cannot stop the liquidation on that day, unless chanrai or another pays off the debts beforehand?
-
Fuglers were responsible for that I think. I suggest they are thmselves pretty miffed with jacob if he has indeed done something incorrect whilst using their company. If unlawful/not properly adhered to, I suggest Fuglers name will be damaged.
-
there used to be an iconic one of him with his socks rolled down and him covered in mud
-
Lol I think it's best to make sue you wouldn't want any slip ups. The paperwork just has to be watertight or they really are in the mire. Jacob leaving Fuglers always made me think something was not right. Who knows they might have a whistle blower there
-
Im not a witch after all. I still think Pompey will get out of it
-
It still gives their players (A lot employed unfairly due to their trading position) to get them into a favourable position FAcup and league wise . That will certainly add pressure to any decision the PL make if they do come out of this court intact.
-
Pompey will get out of it
-
pompey will get away with it.

is it just me or have the News sent a young kid to go and report. There seems to be massive pauses in his info and surely there are a lot of other info coming out that he is not telling us. You need a shrewd mind to take it on board but this guy is just giving very little snippets.
-
welcome back Bucks saint ,we have missed your insight to add to some of the other informed posters. Pompey will get out of it
-
Mr Barker said that since November 11 the club has paid more than £4m to the HMRC. That is probably just what has been due in those months. As in vat on players sales, tickets and merchandising
-
I can sense it, Pompey are going to get away with it.
