  1. That is a fantastic idea. The exposure to that as well as the respect he would get from his past glories would be massive. it would also open the door for him to do many of the stars he played against and we all like a bit of nostalgia of our boyhood heroes. If he had any originals from his playing days i suggest they would be worth quite a bit.
  2. well some may have thought it was funny but I didnt and some around me also. When Papa went off did you notice his reaction when he went to sit down??? Not happy at all.
  3. I was disappointed that the fans sang about him in a negative way. The same nonsense was used against Fuller and look at him now

its the first time ive looked at this thread and can't believe there was a row going on about such a positive thing..........Im gutted I didnt look here a couple of days ago.
  5. safety first and then a day out at Wembley . I know it is a nothing trophy but it would bring 30k saints fans out and some of them may start turning up again.
  6. My priorities are L1 survival first and foremost, then JPT as he havea chance of getting to Wembley and the feelgood factor and finally the FA cup . Realistically we are unlikely to beat any team above top 10 in the CCC. The players do not need to be tired come the end of the season and so an exit from the cup in the 4th round at home to one of the big 4 by the odd goal and a disputed 1 at thet.We can then play the 'we did well and were conned card' but still walk away with pride...then ask FIFA to reinstate us at the final
  7. I think people have seen them survive so many times they think they will again. HR is bound to loan them some stars to help dig them out of the hole.Add that the PL is poor in general and so it is not beyond them with the players they have.
  8. he nicked that from mack Rill
  9. No your credibility on here. At 1 stage people would take on board what you said. You disappearing when the chips were down says it all about you.It is funny you thinking up your excuse though
  10. You have lost all credibilty, no use trying all your excuses. Damaged goods and with all your bluster we all know you slinked off and you can reel out all your normal nonsense but it means nothing now.
  11. if we had been overrun in 1940 the germans would have taken russia in their initial push in 1941 Imo, as they would not have had so many troops posted on the french coasrt and also their airf ofrce would have had more resources
  12. that's was uncalled for
  13. Not good I agree.there again where they come from is not a bed of roses.Am i happy I was born here.
  14. I wouldhave thought that the workers coming from Asia could be likened to all the Brits who have gone to oil platforms, as secuity workers in Iraq etc to get massive money to their own people.Ok the conditions of living etc would be different but still comparable re risks and increase in salary. As for us here looking at how the arabs are manipulating the asian workforce, enjoy your christmas shopping at all the high street stores. None can throw stones,, as we all live in glasshouses
  15. I lost faith in him and thought he was overrated, and argued against him taking KD's placee whne the chips were down. I hope he takes his chance as that would mean we all are winnes. Good luck Bart
  16. Churchill and Maggie for me. Both grasped the nettle and made difficult decisions that ultimatlely shaped the nation.
  17. Teflon Tony. It would be great if he was brought to the Hague on war crimes
  18. another Lol. He's on gardening leave, must be Kew gardens he's singlhandedly tending
  19. he let John Terry did hos team talk during 1 important game, lets hope he doesnt try and get one of his foreign stars who can hardly speak our language do the same
  20. greenridge, I apologise for my terse reply. I just get cheesed off how Saga who has been lauded and fawned upon, when he has done little to really deserve the praise.Indirectly he is hurting us as he is happily sitting on his contract and so stopping us using those funds on a player who would help the team.I understand it is not his fault we paid so much but he has hardly heaped himself in glory
  21. an ill lambert is still more effective than the overrated Saganovski. Get over it, he has been in general an overpaid failure.
  22. Phil very interesting take. It amazes me that people think that after apparently the worst financial mess since the great depression is over after less than a year. It's bonkers. I know of quite a few people who have bought in Dubai i suspect they look a tad sad at present if they look at values.i didnt realise prices had dropped 50%.
  23. yeah I knew that but anything to have a pop at Baj. lol
  24. i only got a quick look at her and she looked up for it, especially as Im sure she felt me up as i carried her to safety
