  1. Baj should have been at home doing a dvd of the Forum match for me that hasnt appeared yet, he's a little tinker
  2. Well i can look back and say i did warn about spinning the roulette wheel at the time, and questioned how we could afford it. sadly the fools in charge went headlong into the abyss. We certainly had our club back.
  3. I thought you would have understood my wording,I accept it was not explained correctly. If you recall after the cup final and we sold Bridgey (the start of our decline IMO) WGS moaned that it is impossible to get to the top clubs because as you start to near them they just come and buy your best players. That is when the penny dropped for him that he had gone as far as he could. The same happened in the summer after the play offs.We had then some players who were the nucleus for us to make the top again but they were sold. Very few managers can put a side together in 6 months and turn them into a promotion team.Keane did it at Sunderland, he hasnt had the same luck at present at Ipswich. If we had not had the boardroom politics and the club had felt good about itself then perhaps we would have cracked it, his signings were OK but we ultimately failed in that season, the god given right for us to be in the top flight had not worked. The fans now are probably in the best mindset now for our climb. The majority I believe accept that we have to worjk to get back to the top and most are patient and can see the building blocks being ut into place. It does worry me seeing some on here thinking we should be beating all comers, they are misguided and if thety expect anything better than safety them they are only going to be disappointed.
  4. who gives a ...
  5. blimey that is a sobering thought!!!!
  6. yeah but do you know you have to use it on woman ?
  7. when you think a team that had souness dalglish Hanson etc did SFA
  8. they'll be ringing the Bells in celebration
  9. I still go back to when some of our fans thought we were the big time charlies and sung to the Yeovil fans 'you'll never play here again' i hope they have forgotten and if winning sing 'we'll never play here again'
  10. I get your point and do understand, but it is a team game and you have to be patient. To me Boyds attitude shows to me why perhaps he was not in the team in the first place.I have always been a team player and whilst of course I was the star and must play i always considered my teammates first.Team spirit often is more important than having individual talent.A mixture is vest of course.
  11. so has his goals dried up now then? I really dont know I promise. If they have surely he could be in the same bracket as saga.He scored 11 in 10 then got his contract and lost his touch to a degree. I would suspect that most football fans on here if given the privilage to play for their country would not refuse however long it takes to get picked. Can you imagine what a bad influence he must have been in the dressing room? As I have said numeous times GB walked out on us like many others, hoping to get a better job he is no better than any of them
  12. what about the missing cat on South Today?
  13. it amazes me how they think he loves the3 club and has done so well for them.He is the architect with HR to the overspending. He is working hard IMO to keep his 1.2m salary as I doubt he'd get it elsewhere.
  14. Of course they are, they need to have a southerner defend their manager from people who are solid bone from the neck up.
  15. i liked your 50m bit, a good lol.Boyd threw his toys out of the pram, he may have thought he had a god given right to play but he had to wait his chance. Is he still scoring lots of goals up there?
  16. What a pathetic post.Gb has slimed his way in keeping his job.Well surely they would have picked up on his drinking habits as he fell out of all the clubs up there. They , a professional football body who know less than Alpine decide to keep the manger when they could have easily got rid. Because it is not how you want it , he has slimed his way to keep the job. What a sad person you are at times
  17. I think a similar thing happened on a cross atlantic flight on BA? where a disgruntled member of the crew set it off deliberately
  18. That is true but as soon as it was running and winning games it was taken apart in pre season.
  19. Thanks he is very reasonable but I dont frequent Skate boards.
  20. i only managed to listen to a bit of commentary.Sadly it was just after they had scored and we were really under the coshI tuned the radio off just after he had made the subs and they seemed to calm the situation down.Ifully expected to lose from th litlle I heard and so was pleased we got a point. So it was job done, -5 instead of perhaps -6 , of course we may have won had he changed sooner but i doubt it.i always would settle for a point away at a lcub on a 100% win rate.
  21. You've lost me a little there.Do you mean if he had got us promoted? if he had we would have had Paul Allen as well of course and Ronaldo etc.It didnt happen and we are where we are now.He did what he said he would, but failed the fans expectations.
  22. I think you will find that you are supposed to go out and win whatever league you are in.Obviously I know you know we all know that is not possible.Gb stated he would get us to the playoffs, not to win the league. You oviously thought we would win the league.Overrating our squad and underrating the opposition. I like to see fans being positive about our chances as i always downplay it myself. I do hope you give AP more time than you are stating by the way.
  23. Why were they brought in then? He did have resources and failed, but he probably earned the club more money than he spent.
