  1. When you say 'we' I know you mean. the club. Most of the fans don't. The owners are a bunch of fools, and I'm sorry I thought Semmens was doing a good job, but I lost my faith in him when it was said we had other parties interested in us with more money, but he chose them!! Ankersen obviously used his smooth talk and gobbledy gook to make Semmens believe they were going to do a great job. In the 1980's/90's Peter Sellers made a film called Being There. It was about a gardener who talked in riddles and people believed he was a genius. (much like the modern art business now) seems to me that is our Danish friend
  2. I still cant fathom why this game was such a tepid affair, that WHU team were there for the taking, their fans are notorious at getting on their backs, we played as if we were out enjoying the sun on a boating lake. I was thinking that any moment we will take the brakes off and go for it. Nothing happened, where was the old fashioned way of putting a defender up and knocking the ball in, to create some kind of panic? It seems to work against us time and again. Why does KWP check back and not whip crosses in, JWP playing sideways passes and back in our own half, it is incredible. The one ploy Jones played was too play JWP up as a 10 and it worked at Everton. His runs into the box and goal showed that's his spot. No, we put him as a defensive midfielder who slows down the play. All those earlier games where some said Carr was a must (the same ones who think Orsic should be playing no doubt) As for S Armstrong what a complete waste, a player who fans put their trust in but he let us down tremendously, especially when he had the chance to shoot got a rebound and then looped it towards the corner flag! Passive Selles,Im sorry but you are not the man for us. Personally, I have felt for a long time that we are not fit for purpose for the PL. We are only there to be the whipping boys for the top 6 or ready players to sell to those teams. The media are not interested in us and basically we are only there for our egos, to say we play in the PL.
  3. He created as many goal assists as JWP last season and many others that our forwards could not take. As much as his haters dont like to admit he is a loss, not the reason we are not staying up, but he would hae made a bit of difference
  4. Did you call? lol Lose and we are gone.
  5. oooh
  6. Channon Ball Osgood etc must have been in their 30;s
  7. Redmond is missed for the chances and opportunities he created. He was the only player who excited me last season, as he at least would get me off my seat. I agree he followed Ralphs orders and in turn that made him less effective. Even Pep became frustrated about the way his game was changed to his detriment. Scored a great goal over the week end. Similar shot as he did at FP 😃
  8. Like a few players imo McCarthy has had a rum deal with the fans. I do see him being poor in areas eg distribution but Pope is no better at that. I want my keeper to keep the ball out of the goal, defenders to be able to defend and not so worried if they are silky. As much as I dislike Dyche, he has it right, his defenders bleeding well defend to the end and he is not so worried about them playing around with it.
  9. Sounds very cold war. To be frank best you dont know its coming as not sure you'd want to survive a nuclear attack. Being trapped under a table in a house that has collapsed while youre hiding can't be good
  10. Mitrovic and Willian being sent off,has made it a good time for Bournemouth. Add to that Brighton may still be wallowing in their semi final tie for their following home game
  11. thats what happens when you are so down on a player Top Fives: McCarthy's saves | Southampton FC Not saying he is necessarily better than Forster, although both are imperfect, but dont brush out history that he has made some incredible saves in vital matches
  12. We also have McCarthy who has experience and made many match winning saves in the past
  13. Lets hope he hasnt burnt his bridges with Caleta Carr and Lyanco
  14. May as well as he frigging find one of our players to head the ball
  15. Please inform us how goals we have scored from a JWP corner this season?
  16. Do the manager and players know we are in a relegation battle? Teams in the past usually scrap and kick their way against teams like Spurs who are soft. We are more Spursy than Spurs
  17. The I can't stand this team Stand
  18. I suggest his popularity with his squad will fade quickly
  19. At least the crumb of comfort is that after today there is a good chance complete hope of survival is gone. Sad that Selles seems to have the love of Mi, it is incredible. Hope I have got it wrong of course

    The Budget

This is the first period of government where social media is a massive part of persuading people to think all is good/all is bad. I dislike BJ as he was instrumental in Brexit. I think Starmer is a decent man but he has some skeltons/decisions he made in his time. The latest that has come to light (not factchecked it) but we may well hear more of was him thwarting a bill stopping/reducing benefits of illegals/asylum seekers. If it had happened all those years ago perhaps UK would not be quite so attractive and the toxic postion it is causing. Imagine Mandelson and his crew what could have been put online about his and his friends actions at their time. I have become myself very cynical and realise we are no better than a banana republic at times. Politics is/has always been full of self interested people and they don't give a flying f about us.

Im sorry to hear this Whitey, my business is retail based (used to be 99% trade) but we were lucky to trade online. Missed the browsers and impulse buyers. Since it has opened up the footfall is off the cliff as people have become used to just looking online. Sadly, in my field where you are competing against photos of products where the difference in product is not easily shown we lose out to the people who sell far less quality items but just a tad cheaper in price. I have no idea how to counter that.

    Ruben Selles

Just read the replies under the LCFC one and add SFC fans. Enough said
  24. He admitted intentionally kicking the ball into touch from kick-off. The sending off against Liverpool at the Dell was a really odd tackle, it was bizarre.
