Rooney new Birmingham manager apparently, they are next home game, hopefully they dont get a new manager bounce. Sure the B'Ham Leicester game will be live and a bit spicy lol

I hear often that by having the ball more than the opposition they can't score, bleeding good job too, as imagine our goal difference if we hadn't had 60% possession! I agree with Wade that the Arsenal /Man C game was tedious. Technically good but boy is it dull where it goes forward/sideways then back. I prefer cut and thrust and so Spurs, Brighton are good to watch. Pep is a fantastic manager and I respect him greatly, but he has players who can pass through the eye of a needle dont think many of our team can pass that well. Surely having the ball upfield and battling for the ball close to the opposition goal enables us to get a chance. Im a dinosaur who enjoys the ball in the box and being aggressive in midfield, playing the ball to a centre forward with someone for flick ons, to a degree Koeman did so with Pelle. Having the budget and quality we will ever have I can't see us ever having the ability to cope playing RM in the Prem

How about playing him down the middle, his pace would frighten most defences and he has the skills to make him unplayable

Having grown up in a society that has been controlled by a pro Israel media I have always given them sympathy. Watching the terror of plane hijacks by the PLO when I was young also made me despise the PLO. As time has gone on and seen how the Israelis land grabbed with settlements and made the life of the Palestinians pretty dire I have softened to their cause. It is a disaster for the world and it will always be the tinderbox between them and Iran. Both having nuclear weapons cannot be healthy. The US may be looking to use this as an excuse to challenge Iran, whose people in the main just want to get on with a happy life

Yes Catch 22 as if we get promotion RM would be the manager

Once there are at least 10 American owners, is there a chance they could get it voted in that like American sport there is no relegation? Fanciful perhaps but it makes business sense for them, Gone will be the ogre of relegation.
-
That is a shame as I feel he could be a better bet than what we have
-
If we could be guaranteed top 6 forever in the Championship Id settle for that, but it is torrid being in the lower reaches fighting a relegation battle in this league. Stay in here too long and that will happen as our financial muscle fades

the only time the fans are the most important assets are when the club is in financial difficulty. The rest of the time we are fed the mealy mouthed nonsense about how important we are and go and buy a shirt to show it etc etc. Fans are seen as mugs, as we have pinned our colours to the mast and there to help pay the wages As you can tell my rose glassed spectacles have been binned many years ago, gone are those fantastic days as a kid being so excited to get Fred Kemp's autograph in the club carpark after the players had been training.

mugs most of the time

I wish the fans who were spouting we will be top scorers and will walk the top 2, were called out at the start of the season not after 11 games. The last 3 games we have started to look more assured with the new system (not that I'm an advocate) It should have been 9 points of course. The last 11 games of the season are very important for us to make a good run. It is a real shame hat we are now unlikely to make top 2 and as a long time Saints fan I accept we will make a hash of the play-offs. The manager seems a decent man but whether he has the grit needed time will tell. Even if we got rid of him could we be sure the next appointment will be any good? SR have a very easy ride, in my opinion they came with their double glazing salesmen chatter and pulled the wool over Semmens eyes, giving a view of how they were going to reinvent football and he/the powers that be fell for it. 2 or 3 years down the road we will find out if indeed they have funds, I doubt it, and wonder if the club will be burdened with large debt.

I would put my money on Wade Garret

Sky reporter said it was Harwood Bellis mistake

you forgot those arsehole brothers who flashed the Sunderland fans a picture of young Bradley who did of cancer

Well first thing it wasn't at Anfield. I have no knowledge of his wife being unwell, Dave Merrington when he was our manager had a similar situation
-
Amazed the centre forward is still there. He is imperative for their success. Think its their year. Im getting lots of Skates sending me messages of their future games against us. When Oxford are the main competitors shows that its a weak league.

Stu really should have scored with his header, if he had I think it could have been 4. That left us hanging on a bit against the aerial barrage. In the main I was pleased how the defence coped. I have read on here that Manning is poor etc but to me, I can see why he was snapped up and a decent player. Aribo is calm and will improve as he gets more game time. Pleased to get the win, just a shame it had to be so edgy at the end. A new bit of housery that I liked and how we managed the injury time. The commentator got on my nerves keep going on about no pen given, I dont think either was blatant. That shot that went across the goal just before half time looked as though it was going in and my heart skipped a beat !!!

Perhaps you are underrating those players. I really like Redmond
-
I thought I saw that somewhere. He didnt want to leave WH and wanted to fight for his place
-
Always happens when a player really doesn't want to join a club.
-
Didnt he break up with his girlfriend recently? Sometimes it really get affect people
-
I really am not sure of SR's motives. Its not about making a successful football team thats for sure

Sydney, you are obviously one of RH biggest cheerleaders, you will never change your tune and so I accpet that
-
It does seem obvious, consistent patterns of play can be countered and pushing the opposition to the wings so that they have only one way to go, makes defending pretty easy. Add to that the madness of passing back instead of pushing forward makes it even easier
