Jones was a terrible appointment, but I do feel we would have been more up and at them and not been this side who think we can play Pep football if he had stayed. Finding someone who runs a lot and sideways and backwards will be hard to replace. He is a good player and his free kicks are superb, it may not be his falut that he is playing a deep position. Only at our clu do we find a perfect spot in the team for him, he scores and creates havoc for us to win, and then we put him back deep.

He had been down injured. Whether that was timewasting I dont know, but that extra 10 minutes he could have injured himself for the rest of the season. He had a bad injury not long ago and so the risk factor was there.

I dont understand why fans are so surprised. Once Arsenal got a second a third was sure to follow as we had for 45 mins been defending. Also Saints have a history of not holding on. If Arsenal had scored mid second half they would have won by 2 or 3.
