  1. Valid but time is of the essence. i was talking to a Cherry fan today and he said how important it was to get rid of the -10. It hangs around you like a cloak and drags the morale down. Last season it was a case in point. We went on a 3 match winning streak and in normal times that would have made us catch the rivals but they also had a run and so it kept us low. We need to start with some good results and Millwall home will be as hard a start as we could get. They are a useful side.
  2. Yes but they look like both of them were left feet. I had to turn the volume down watching you on the ball. All that clicking of the joints put my teeth on edge. My boys certainly showed too much respect there, I hadn't realised quite how much time you were afforded. You were lucky Hamster was not on our side as you would have had a two footed tackle at neck height to take you out, and that would have been only in the tunnel as we walked out..
  3. im glad you picked that as well. Showboating from Granty and he got lucky. I did like the clip of me showing how to catch the ball, after seeing a couple of the home teams goals perhaps.............

As much as I dislike some of the Pompey fans a lot are decent lads . I would just like them taken down a peg or 5
  5. isnt it the classic case of leaking a players name as though you are interested, then all of a sudden he and his agent is knocking at the door. The panic then sets in, 'My husbands not home can can you come back friday, and then Ill pay.'
  6. I read he was prepared to take a pay cut to go to Watford, so we should expect him to do the same here.I doubt he will though.
  7. Wonder why they said wait until friday? Odd
  8. you're a keeper that is expected of you, Ok you were playing midfield but I make exceptions of my star players
  9. with GH I assume
  10. You were there Lets B, you saw the travesty. I taught Fergie everything he knows about being a bda loser. My DVD is still AWOL by the way. Iam told 1 of the suppliers is abroad, no doubt selling the rights to a foreign broadcaster.
  11. but if you go to games and sit in the same place, you normally make friends around you. I go along with my daughter, but speak to many around us....whether they want to or not Lol
  12. Its interesting that hte picture is titled Portsmouth Point, I wonder when that will be?
  13. Thanks, i do hope you aint out in the sun again
  14. Thanks, I really like him and hope he gets more games in this season. He really was taken out badly by that QPR defender.I dont think he can be blamed for getting that injury.
  15. You 2 are going to run out of letters soon
  16. Have i missed something, is Holmes still not at the club?
  17. Yes the respect is well earned. It is silly to worry that not only have we sold a few of our players but we are starting on minus 10 and that it seems we have not as yet replaced them. Whilst i have faith in the new regime it is not strange to still be concerned. Millwall is a tough start, even at home (the last time I can recall winning the first game of the season was in the late 1980's with Colin clarke scoring against QPR) This time next week we may have 2-3 new players, but they will not have played in the team by then. It is not ideal but lets not worry, and just grin and bear it. The OP is fair and it is to all our benifit that the team is strong and starts well. This site is slow and so threads like this at least gets people on here posting.
  18. i think there is fair reason for both sides to be correct on this.We are on -10 and need a good start. If we are 15 points adrift after 3-4 games it becomes more of a mountain to climb and players will be loathe to join us. On the other hand it is better for AP to take his time to select as we dont want to rush in and regret later. I myself expected to have had 2-3 more signings by now, it is not a case of wingeing but a case of hoping we would be seeing the shape of a new team forming that would in turn push us on.
  19. there wasnt a game they shouldnt have, but cup luck really favoured them that season. From home to Plymouth away at preston Man u and even the cup final
  20. Um I dont doubt it, the ref was under orders and even if they had picked the ball up on the halfway line and then ran with it rugby style to the net it would hve been given
  21. Isnt that picture been lifted from when he went to give his post match interview, after all the ref was cocoa the clown and they would make bookends
  22. Sportsnight with Coleman 5 a side. FA cup against Manchester United the glamour and most exciting team of its age. and yours? FA cup against Cardiff (with a squad that had been bought at high cost and wages)and CCC when all other clubs had been neutered by the collapse of ITVdigital and you had a lot of money to buy you promotion.
