  1. Are you saying that people who are professional are going to have the same view. Jonah and UMp are both professional intelligent people but were both at different poles regarding how the club was going.I wish you luck
  2. It was allegedly Wilde who used to post on Saints 4 ever under that name when he was trying to oust RL
  3. you are not Saintmarc I hope...lol
  4. whilst Blackstocks last minute goal was a turning point for Forest that may well be the one for Barnsley. We need 2 teams to fail, perhaps if Forest are safe last day it might work in our favour. So norwich and Barnsley lose, both us and forest win then hope a win at forset is enough for us on the last day.unlikely of course
  5. Not told you so, it was a case of trying to point out that administration was not likely to be the cake walk some thought. As for getting rid of the PLC and RL it is a bit extreme. it is like setting fire to your house without insurance as you didnt like the colour of the wallpaper. Saints means a lot to us all on here and to see it perhaps go for good is not what i want and that is why i try and point out the pitfalls of change. You may be right and it may be a new start with a new figurehead. If so i hope they hurry up as time waits for nobody
  6. I will hold my hand up and say i have not at present put any money in.I do not wish to pay towards the players wages and still the club goes t###. Many were happy for us to go into administration as they thought it would mean an quick way to be bought. At present that doesnt seem to be the case and the calls for donations are becoming more and more desperate. If I was certain that the club will get through it i would put in, but there is massive doubt my money will go and pay administers bills and still not have a club at the end of it.I understand it is Catch 22 if we dont we not have a club, but however many fantastic fans shake the buckets how will they pay to get us through the summer? We either get bought by a big player or a new saints will start in the lower leagues, that is when the money will find its correct place and will do more good.
  7. I think many of our fans have no memeories of those days and also he has had some very good windfalls from us

Always has been a thorn in our side.i agree that he might have what it takes Victor
  9. Ron it was if the loan swap worked out.Neither party wanted the deal in the end.
  10. It was a deal 1.2m deal but we were to get Robertson in that fee at a figure of 500k if both parties were happy. Therefore we were getting 700k plus Robertson and wages
  11. well done Derry your love of the club shows through.I would respectfully suggest that the plans your group make is not for saving what we had but starting over a new AFCSaints as however well meaning you are the costs we have will never get near making.Unless we have a backer with real funds it is costing you time and if a bid is made costing our club valuable funds as the administrator will be bound to go and spend time getting the bid looked at. It is time for the timewasters to STEP BACK and lets see if there really is any substance to any bigger playerws if there are any. Iam slowing getting to the realisation that some of the things I was accused of 'scaremongering' pre administration may be coming to pass. Please be it Im so wrong, it will make me very happy to be so.
  12. I was told when he was made club captain he was as proud as anybody could ever be. He cares but i doubt we will see him in a saints shirt at SMS after saturday
  13. In theory but it will be like a wake and so many will be put off by that.If the media really lay it on and its a lovely day perhaps there will be a good walk up.
  14. he scored in a 2-0? defeat. He was signed ofter midnight of the transfer deadline and scored his only goal for Brum in his debut against us.
  15. Typical saints we didnt rock the boat about that.Prutton got a massive ban and we didnt try to appeal..although I doubt it waqs a big problem him missing
  16. I think you are getting a bit carried away. We only sold 27k on cheap tickets after the media hype and RL departing. 22k looks like the most unless the media goes into full swing and tells people it will be the last game ever at SMS, then the train crash watchers will turn up.
  17. unless we get an injection of funds it will be me or Dubai Phil as the next manager. Im told we are being scouted as managers in the forum game

after winning the local derby and perhaps sending them down. Its a tough business being a manager
  19. I doubt they feel the pain we do, after all they have not been brought up as saints through and through. The very little I have gleaned as nobody wants to talk about it was that the dressing room was very down most of the players had their heads in their hands and it was very quiet.I get the impression also KD was very very upset. The manager told them what he thought, and that they had let the fans club and themselves down.I dont think it is because they dont care but they are not good enough to turn it on in the important games. When was the last time we could really go to a game and think we were most likely to win? Probably 5years ago.
  20. If they dont agree they resort to insults.especially if you try and what they perceive a defence of RL, when in the main it is just being evenhanded.
  21. I agree you have been very restrained DPS
  22. 'We'll never play here again.'
  23. Daren I understand what you say about RLas a chairman and its water under the bridge. My experience of LC as chairman was not great when I was the guest of Bournemouths directors last season. They were not at all impressed in the way he treated them with disrespect. I cringed when our fans sung to the Yeovil fans 'you'll never play here again' when their plucky small club came to SMS. The constant harping on that we were a big club didnt help either and of course our constant getting out of relegation would have irked the fans of clubs who did go down those seasons.RL has made a massive impact but he did make a concerted effort to make the ground family friendly and any trouble makers were weeded out. Niall Quinn is without the doubt a role model of a chairman and his jesture giving all his testinmonial money to charity showws what a great person he is.Sadly there are few who would get near him. As with our state now there are a plethora of reasons why RL bing a big part in both
  24. I share your passion
