Relegation had nothing to do with stay away fans. The product, infighting, RL, MW, poor football, disappointing games and the fact that we were not playing Man u stopped the fans coming. I think Dibden is saying that if the fans who stayed away on principle rather than the glory had turned up we would have been better off financially.Personally i really dont think that there are that many fans who cuto ff their noses to spite their face and so hundreds rather than thousands.if Dubai Phil's assessment of costs is correct and it seems reasonable then their attendance may have made very little difference.Getting rid of Rudi Rasiak Saga BWP and JE would have made much more.
