  1. I think that the 14k are magnifcent, the other 16k are the ones who moan and boo as they have given up. Considering everything the ones who stayed behind the team yesterday were great
  2. not Norwich then!!!
  3. and you wont when we are in L! or L2 because you will say the standard is not good enough and why should I pay to £15 to watch Rochdale etc. I wish the free tickets had gone to people who genuinely were hard up and cant go due to finance.
  4. 48 is a lot to spend for what we have put in front of us. To be fair a lot of fans who are s/t holders may now think the same and if they bought them game to game many migth think the same. It would take a lot for me to stop going as I foolishly would feel guilty not to be there trying to help in my own little way to try and get us out of it. Whatever you decide you justy have to go with it, but administration seems to me to be a disaster and if we can somehow fend it off it should be done. As for selling Lallana or Surman it would be unfortunate but do they week on week do enough to warrant our adoration?
  5. but TYhompson should have joined him when the attacks were coming up our left, but for some reason he was still on the half way line.
  6. Coventry are owned by a hedge fund, many of them are in the mire at present so at present they are safe but who knows in a few weeks
  7. This morning I still dont feel much better about the game. I stilll think had we started with BWP and JE we would have been physically stronger and better placed to get a result. It still amaazes me we played with 2 very young wingers
  8. It was down to the starting line up not the formation. No way should we have strarted with a kid on each wing, when we had BWP or JE on the bench
  9. I understand your thoughts ,and am pretty down tonight but I cant see how we have other choices with the club so far up to its neck. Never in LM's time were we in this predicament
  10. whoever picked the starting line up needs to be shot. How can we start a game with 2 inexperienced kids on the wings against a passing side, while leaving BWP and Euell on the bench. Madness. The midfield never coped with the 5 BC had. Thompson never supported DMG when the ball was on the opposite flank and so if he won a flick on or the ball went over him their was nobody to pick up the pieces. It was crying out for JE or BWP to be there or there abouts. Lancashire was not strong enough to cope with their forwards and johnson made Surman to chase shadows most of the game. Non of the normal passing was evident and only after they scored did we ever look threatening. I normally am supportive but today the team selection was dire and the constant multi team changes is getting annoying.Last season I could see fair reason but this I cant.
  11. I dont think that is fair, many people resent immigrants taking their jobs
  12. its a nonsense phrase. I hae a woman who works for me and she has stopped using the expression after she said 'oh thats to die for' some ridiculous thing it was, and so I said 'ok you can have it, now where's my gun'
  13. 'to die for'
  14. your posts normally do Tiggs
  15. his credentials look good.
  16. I agree the club have let us know the overdraft has gone up to £8m, frankly Im not surprised if the club was losing 100k's a week (I still am not sure how much it was, but it was ranging from 100k -400k)when RL came back. Perhaps fans may understand more why Davies was sold and high wage earners were loaned.
  17. LS I would hope it was taken as more than a slight vote of confidence. I have no doubts you would not intentionally hurt the club you and i both adore. Just that we come from different directions but both completely want the same. Something obviously you have been made aware of and it has got your attention and so you wish to help. It is something most of us would do.
  18. Please tell us where we know that is happening? We have to temper all these things with understanding some good people in the past have been used , as their love for the club and wish for us to do well has blinded them to what really they are bing used to do. The last I heard, it was some weeks ago, that allegedly AC was very happy how things were going financially. Again that may be wide of the mark as I was not there when it was said. LS has told us he has information and I believe his word but the source may not be so trustworthy. If the source is 100% correct it is right to take action, but from where I stand looking in and I was the bank I would surely think 'yes he's taken a knife to the costs, and whilst it is not reduced as much as we'd like we are in uncharted financial territory where massive companies are in trouble.' Now LS may be furnished with better details and that new people are coming in to wipe the debt (oh please let that be and a little to invest) but at present we have been fed a few scraps and i dont want another 'Football first, revolution unless they can come up with the goods.
  19. that in the maion would be fine by me. As long as all the rest were shipped off and not to darken the clubs door again. It irks me looking at so many of thise selkf satisfied people in the directors box drawing off the club and giving nothing back.
  20. Hypo then we need to perhaps to get a groundswell of members to ask for this. The members would enjoy some of the bizarre and thoughtful threads that the non members put up and perhaps that would stimulate the site. There are many registered members who would start threads and we all benifit . Im going to pm one of the main lads and ask if it can be done, others might like to do so as well
  21. Unless he is going to install Salz as chairman.
  22. Wes I think your first sentence is unfair. RL had 5to return to try and get the costs slashed and has tried a visionary approach to it (I await the normal nonsense at that statement) We are only at the very early stages of it and whilst I would like RL gone only so it would mean the fanbase could unite, it seems the most credible way of providing longterm safety if the new lot haven't much money to put in.I agree with Phil it seems that all we will get is more of the same but them taking apart a bit of the progress we have made in the last few months. The worlds wealthy people have taken a real battering and lost loads of disposable cash, so why will they come and drop 10m into us? LC is a fantastic businessman in his industry and I admire him for that, but with due respect I cant see him affording to put 10m into the club and risk losing it.
  23. Morph all due respect and all that but were those not the words you gave to us a few months back when the Fulthorpe thing was at its height, it may have been even the back end of last season. I dearly hope you are right but please excuse my cynicism as i really dont mean to question your words. I have indeed been told a few times by different peoplethat the money is signed up and they are about to procede and then nothing. It is so frustrating. May i also ask, if you have an ear to the powers that be, if you get rid of RL etc please make sure the whole bl''''y lot are gone, the people who have been in the background for decades feeding on the club and taking perks bvut giving nothing in return. Thanks Nick
