On this I agree 100% LS. It always wrankles that WGS on cup final day didnt have KDavies on the bench when it was even obvious then that the Arsenal defence was not comfortable with big forwards.He would have been perfect to be brought on to batter them in the last 15 minutes.

2 points to answer from your post. I agree religion is the worst evil, and that nobody should be taught it until they were over 18 when they can make thier own minds up. Secondly the global warning thing. I dont know what age you are but my experience is of the younger generations, citizens who have been taught from an early age of the perils of waste and usage of energy. Tell me whose kids dont leave all the lights on in the house or cant be faffed to walk or to the bus stop but rather drive their old bangers of cars, and the people walking into IKEA and filling their homes with furniture etc that will be thrown away in a few years so they can have a new lounge. BTF you corrected me some time ago about the financial regulations being lifted under the Tories. Since that time it has been made clear that it was Brown taking away the Bank of Englands powers to regulate that has caused the banking crisis. Not my words but those by respected BBC journalists and others. I see no wrong in helping others but we as a nation are going down a dangerous road by borrowing so much, and allowing the general populus to owe so much. I dont know whether it has been factored in to the tax revenues but the City was our major money earner overseas, the revenues it is bringing in must have been slashed enormously. Unless it can recover quickly we all are in trouble as the pound is plummeting and that will lead to higher inflation as the majority of our imports are bought with $. I wouldnt be so confident in Mr Brown, although you knowing him will no doubt cloud your view and also being an admirer you wont want to see.

Well my opinion and that MM may have been interested, neither are facts. You may have had someone been told that MM wished to buy into the club but MM says a lot of things in devilment. I would doubt he would effect the worship he has by the Pompey fans by daring to save us and even make us better than them.

that is a sad fact of the matter but if the squad is used to playing the same way throughtout the club then it should be seamless. The club can use the loan system until it gets financially stronger or until the club is upo and running in this way.

That is how I see it as well. I think Arsenal do the same thing and so a player cqan slip straight into the tream as he has always played the same system.It seems so logical Im amazed it is seen as revolutionary over here.
