    Basaya

where was it said it wasn't. There again pre the appointment the club would of course have to take account of which players could leave on freedom of contract and try to make moves to keep them. They were trying to persuade Dyer at the same time. That was good business as he could have walked for nothing but we have a deal with Sheff utd that will bring in a nice sum, so we should applaud RL for that or whoever got him to sign.

I cant recall what the Runnymead meeting gave as RL's remit, but I think it was football matters and also RL handled players signings in many deals when we were in the Pl I believe. If RL tried to convince a young player to stay what is wrong with that? Bloody hell this is getting dridiculous, he also persuaded Morgan to join is that bad as well. I remember when that young prodigy chose Chelsea instead of saints and there was hell to pay because RL had it was said not gone to meet the lad and his parents. Why is everything that is done seen as sinister, if Basaya fitted in with the clubs plans they should use every means posssible to show they want him and to have a board member try to persuade him not to go should be seen as good not bad. I dont want him to pick the team but if he is responsible for getting a young player to stay who one day may become an asset then go for it.
  4. I do understand and you put it beautifully but I would like to point out your bias does show through even though you really do try and be balanced. The Daily Mail seems to be a pet hate of yours, I dont read any of the papers anymore as they only get you down. If its not spongers its government waste, or other nonsense to wind people up. It would be best if I read the Guardian so I could see the adverts for jobs and how my taxes are being used to employ people in mad jobs on high wages. ..........steady Im only teasing you BTF although
  5. fair comment, I have to hold my hand up as I didnt realise the ****''' happened 2 years ago.
  6. do you think so? Surely Surman would be looking to greater things than Reading
  7. I dont get newspapers but your generalisation of Daily Mail readers is wrong. Only a percentage of them complained and no doubt there were people who found phoning the granddad offensive as well, even the luvvie Guardian readers may have felt uneasy. There was 1 innocent victim in all this and that is who the majority of people would feel for. The 2 presenters and the girl deserve each other.
  8. Nowhere near what MW wanting to find out who gave her the info or who she is?
  9. who the players...as long as its the whole crew I will pop open a bottle of champers
  10. he is expected to be available saturday and so his battle is not quite over
  11. well having players come and with htier thoughts is communicating with its customers, but the customers dont want to beleive it and so they may as well tell us to f### off as that is what it seems fans want.
  12. I lol'd anyway AP
  13. I never doubted he did sleep with her but it was how they sent a message to her granddad
  14. she'll be on Im a celebrity or something soon. While I dont like what the 2 off the radio did she is just as bad by using it to further her career.
  15. you are not wrong there
  16. at last some financial brain. You havent registered still, shame on you we need your input Jonah
  17. He's a ladies man,
  18. but surely the club site is only an advertising arm and so it will give out posiitves. t hardly would help sell tickets if it came out with 'we're doomed and the board are living off your s/t revenues'
  19. Lowe is not allowed to speak if you recall, as fans said they woud stomach his return as long as he stayed in the background and not talk to us. That is something that he has done. I wouldnt put anything past RL or anyother of the group who run our club, but i also feel that DMG and Killer were not forced to say what they did. You read braille by using touch i think you will find
  20. BTF I think I think Ican recall you being sensitive on here about an illness that a close member of your family sufered from was being laughed about. If you had those 2 idiots phone you up leaving messages about it i doubt you would be criticising the Mail for trying to get the fools punished. As for the BBC isnt it interesting how they towed the line to the Labour party when the Licence review came up a couple of years back. The BBc is supposedly independent but there are subtle ways to control it.
  21. they were the same at Cardiff that time
  22. I have trouble reading braille. Perhaps you could rephrase it. I suppose again it depends how you view Killers integrity. If you beleive he is desperate to please RL he would come out and lie to the fans, afterall Killer does seem a meek type of person who would do anything his boss would ask.
