Iam against booing players. As for Cole I thought it was pathetic but he is really the epitamy of the modern footballer and I think fans are sick to death of these type of players.

I now live in Salisbury enough said

Thanks BTF, Im gonna put the policeman right on that one

ahhh and England scared the s### out of Kazakstan for so long didnt they? Take account of the fact that he is an international manager. You can try your rubbishing of someone as you have no real answer to a fact.

As I have stated before, the second season when the wage bill came down was a carry over from RL installing GB whose remit was to slash the wage bill and get rid of the hgh earners, hence over 20 players departing. I dont know for certain who was in charge and making the decisions at any one time after Lowes removal but All that came in oversaw an increase on wages and that is criminal in a financial sense. It is not about RL being better but the wage bill was being slashed but the 'saviuors, and anyone but RL' crew took us back to the same heoights of wages that we had when we had a squad of PL salaried players when we first came down. It is a disaster and however you dress it up we were let down

MB I knew you'd get that one in. It did make me smile, but you are right 15 minutes into the second half, I do hope the referee is going to add on a lot of injury time.

a very successful businessman, but in real terms £2m a year is not a lot when you want them to invest in a football club. We need someone who is worth 500m and is prepared to lose 100m,where it is not a big loss in their living standars wheras someone worth 30m to lose 5-10m is a big cut in their lifestyle.

its how you die is the fear. Peacfully in your sleep in your 80's without knowing is the way to go

I hope the fine Italian had a good time too! Thanks, i am not looking to pick a fight but wondered as you are normally gened up on this type of thing and perhaps would be as surprised as me if this is the case.

I stated after speaking to a policeman he said thet he looked up an the governments accounts that the spend on the cabinet office was the same as we spend on the whole of our policeforce. If that is the case then it seems scandalous. Unless the cabinet office do a lot more than provide tea and doughnuts to civil servants and quangos to their mates. If you are not worried that this may be a waste of taxpayers money then fine, but to me it seemed a massive amount. I would happily point out I have no idea what the cabinet office do.

and the poster still wont go, because the football ain't good enough as we are only playing Rochdale, and all we are playing it the under 16's and a couple of 38 year olds. They've closed the family centre Northam and chapel and only have the Itchen and Kingsland open in the centre, also its far too dear to watch L2 football. I'm sure you know where we are with poelpe like that.

Snowballs you are above that I thought. He obviously is doing it for himself but he also has done it to try and repay the fans and club. He could easily have taken a fantastic insurance payout like a lot of the others have recently.

That is fine but the jibes are tasteless IMO. No doubt it is done in mirth but again it is wrong and those that try and get political points from it should think again
-
BTF can you tell me what the cabinet office spends its moneyon.I ask that as I had a Policeman call on my business premises as a hoolie had done some damage, and he told me the Police budget nationwide is 5.7billion and that he had looked up for spending in similar amounts on the national bill and the Cabinet office spent the same! Now that seems a lot of money to me, but perhaps you can explain as it is your field i would have thought. Ta Nick

they are no better than they were before the 58% rise in salary, that is most pertinent to me.
-
back to the original thread, Killer is obviously still fighting to play. Why the cheap jibes, its a disgrace as he has shown more bottle than any footballer that has palyed for us in generations.Instead of the cheap cracks show some respect.

you've got the niggling injury, but without the injury

SOG, you are banging your head against a brick wall. Even when NP was at SMS a lot of the non attenders were still not going. There is no answer to the true fact that GB is now an International manager. He is not managing a L1 side or out of work. In fact it seems he earnt the club al ot of money when he left with a handsome payoff , that helped towards the loans NP brought in to save the day.

and I haven't been invited

That is 100 % how I feel about your redibility Weston
-
Oh the irony, lol
-
Weston Im glad you have said that to clarify things. It would be human nature to believe you were trying to cover for your friends as i would expect DMG and RL etc not to be very happy at these assertions and may jump to the wrong conclusions and may point to AS as being the source. This is the problem for all of us on here as we may put friends or aquaintances in peril (ie have trouble with their employers or teammates)by trying to inform the posters on here on the scraps that we are fortunate to get. I have withdrawn from putting too much info on here as it has become a game with a few to gang up try and discredit the little bits I put up. It is not to be clever by me but genuinely i wanted to share the news for many of the normal fans who are not poilitcal and just want to know. I do know the club really do want to find out where this info drips from and so i really am drawing back more as it is not worth it, only then to have some who have their own agendas to try and be smart to trash these things. I do hope the club do not jump to conclusions and DMG likewise as Drew and family seem to be an innocent in all this as for the salary it does seem low but it may have been linked to performance bonusses. Long shot said it was a third of GBs and a fifth of Dave Jones but of course may have come from he same source, so it is difficult to see if it is correct. IMO it probably should have been there or there abouts as GB on 9k a week seems not unrealistic and if NP was on a third then that all falls into place.

That is interesting, was Wiseman the power breaker in the boardroom?
-
Wes to be fair, we were/are under the cosh and thecwage bill has to be slashed I think we all now agree on that. To bring in an older pro, it takes signing on fees, relocation fees, hotel fees, schooling for their kids etc etc and of course they would be on at least 2k a week plus add ons, or we already have kids on the payroll earning from 300-1500? pw. at the same time it was geting them into playing league football and bringing them on quicker. Now I get the impression that the whole system is geared up that the kids in future will be acclimatised to playing the same way and so slot into the team seamlessly. They I think train together and also mature quicker as they have to as they are mixing with the older players. It is something that will not happen overnight and so this season I believe is all about staying up, and then pushing on next season. I also would suggest steying out of adminsiration is worth 10 points minimum, and how many old players would you need to sign to guarentee that?

Was / Is NP a 'Bootboy' and can we get real about what we need to do?
OldNick replied to Sheff Saint's topic in The Saints
It will be of little surprise that I think that much of this is credible.Forget not I have been a critic of MW. I cant get all worked up about NP either way as he is yet to prove himself. Some said he will be England manager one day, I myself dont hold to that or even PL but he may prove his worth but getting Leicester promoted proves little IMO, next season will show how good he is. His attacking system was not that effective but he was good at organising the defence in the last couple of games
