You still will be able to but not in the PL. You and I have both have Man U relegated as well as Spurs ,Chelsea etc etc.We just have got relegated at the worst possible time when the reassurence of Pompey and big money buying PL clubs. -

As I say believe who you wish. Some fans are more gullible than others and to be fair to UM he didnt categorically say it was fact but said gossip. -

Well mine comes a lot closer than that. Do you know how things get twisted. A freind who I thought would know better to believe it knows someone who is a mate of a first teamer and he came away believing that things are so bad financially that the first team have ot take their own kit home to wash!!! -

I think that is unfair, but we al have our opinions. Were either of the pen shouts valid? For me a goalscorer wants to shoot not go over when he has a chance to score. -

As Lowe is away then I doubt that it is true today, but Im sure many will beleive he did it by webcam. -
All ver valid points. Football has changed and so have we. Do I hold any player in esteem anymore? No, too many times have I been disappointed as they have left for pastures new, from Channon and Davies through to KK and shearer. not since MLT have I allowed myself to feel that way about a player since and that has helped me accept things now.The day I smashed the tv control in temper after we let a late goal in at Bolton I knew it was stupid.i enjoy the football as I can pass time with people who follow the same team and talk football, combined with going ith my daughter. so if RL is chairman, what does it really matter, if he was Gaydamak and his background would I really worry sadly probably not. I followed them when the worst was there who has now sneaked backwards but still taking the rewards GA. So i cant myself understand those people as i cant understand why they were so happy to go to Cardiff and fill the ground in the PL. Yes some do not go because of RL but most dont go because we are not playing in the PL
-
is that nippers as in kids of below 16 ? I dont know why the club would be selling to adults for a tenner. If they are stupid enough not to go because of RL then why are we debating bringing prices down.
-
This may be the truth.Perahps we should hope it is not as it may seem to some who wish to write him off. Perhaps our hearts are ruling our heads and also we are giving him a couple more days to recover so he could play the next 2. It is not a satisfactory situation I agree.
-
I have just had a message to confirm that.
-
I noticed the club havent acted on selling advertising in the corners that is a surprise, even if it raised £1000 it is something, banners draped with company names would not cost much to do.
-
Ump a very valid post. I myself as a s/t holder dont give a monkeys if the club reduced the prices to help fill the ground and os enhance my match day enjoyment. The only problem comes as far as I can see is that when the club puts the prices back up again it is seen as a negative. The club can't win. I do like the idea of kids for a quid accompanied by a full paying adult. if they made the Chapel end family only and laid on more things for the kids in the concourse that may also generate money but also more interest for the kids. The fans in the chapel might like the idea of moving but again for the greater good it should perhaps be tried.

it wasnt me who had to send a PM to justify my wealth, but liddle old you. If you believe I have a window cleaning round why should I care, you aint got any mates and so have to come onto a rivals site as even your own fans think you are a tool.I know people from POL and they think more of Westwood than you. Yes we believe you were on 3 weeks holiday, you are on an internet forum you can be James Bond, but we all know what you really are.
-
In your own little world of 'Corp no mates' you beleieve what you like. You said you didnt like HR but now change to suit your arguement.Typical fan who has only been going a few years.

Wright was a great c/b, but the wages were different in those days.

A good post. The problem I see with that is the league is full of those and clubs get nowhere with a team of them. I believe (maybe falsely) that it is not about this season. We have the sole aim, of staying up and consolodating. We dont go into admin but haver the nucleus for next season to push on with a team that has had its teeth cut at this level and with a little bit of addition then goes to higher positions. We have tried the seasoned pros on big wages and that has not done the business.I still feel we were too soon on HR's back and he jumped as he could see the writing on the wall.We were on the margins of the top four when he left with the transfer window beckoning, the 2nd half of the season is always the time the promotion teams push on and he would have got us there or thereabouts just look at the squads power then. I know this is controversial but thatr is how I see it.
