but BS we have a new team new system and that is going to take time. I spoke to Rich Chorley on the way back from the game and we both agreed that this season is all about getting it to gel and then move on as the team develops next.As he rightly said it all depends on who is still here, but feom my postion I dont see any of the team likely to go quite yet.Even Lallana has a long way to develop yet to make a PL side.

Alpine also the post serves your arguement and so all of a sudden it must be true. All I can say it is not what I heard coming from the club and therefore I take some of it being correct. I was never in any doubt that AD was enjoying himself here but also he was not averse to going for the fruits of the PL. Have you answered my question I have put ot you at least 10 times or is it too hard to comprehend?
-
that is true but also they can muller us, remember last season? They rode their luck big time and stole a win, we cant afford that happening again.
-
I think you will find it was a bit of both. We needed him sold and he didnt wish to misss the opportunity, but there is no way he was forced to leave kicking and screaming.

Considering all the posesstion Ipswich had for the last 20 they created very little except for KD's one on one, that is a credit to the team.Cork impressed me, sadly he is not our player but he was very composed.
-
I understand that Weston but I dont get what you all expect.1 of you are blaming KD for the 2 nd goal, which to me is nonsense, as it seems any cross in some peoples minds shold be caught by the keeper. If that was the case a header inside the 6 yard box would never be scored. The other is criticism of his distribution, well I gave my reason for that. Please name a goal keeper that is all the things expected by yourselves and I'll show you the worlds best ever keeper because no goal keeper in histroy has distributed the ball, taken crosses good in one on ones, saved penalties and been a good shot stopper.

the football was ok it wasnt as good as some games and Gillettehas lost a bit of confidence. Ipswich also play good football and it was noticable that they looked physically stronger in every department as their players were much older than ours. This season for me is only about staying up.
-
where do you get your figures from, are you suggesting you are going to get over 20k every game?
-
so because his brother has passed that on second hand it is poof. I supopose he speaks to his brother every day and he was kept informed of every part of the deal. Again I ask you a question you never replied to. You upped sticks to make a better life for your family would you expect Davies not to do the same where he would triple his wages, play PL football not be in a side that was full of inexperienced youngsters. He would also be back closer to his roots? I myself cannot see that a player who had been at the club 9 months would be so in love with it to scrifice the opportunity, afterall it may not come knocking again.

KD cant win , when he held the ball to let the forwards get into postion fans were getting upset and when he played it to the front others do. If you noticed(probably didnt) when Magilton sent on the subs they closed down the short balls to the full backs and Perry that we were using before that to make our play, when that avenue was closed down we had to resort to the long punt.
-
You have no idea LS, I dont know where you sit but the ball was crossed from the byeline and went past the back stick where James should have dealt with it. KD was never at fault and as for taking croses he did it a few times. How many did Wright pluck out of the air? Ithought most of this antiKD nonsense had been quoshed but there are always some who cant bear to accept being wrong.

You could be right OSM

BS the performance was a lot better last night than a lot of games under any of the managers you care to mention from last season. How many games last season would we have come back from a goal down? The concern for me was the tiredness in the last 15minutes that let Ipswich attack constantly, but we keep our nerve and the point. When we equalised I said to my daughter I'd be happy if the ref blew now and got the point.

At least you have stopped doing the juvenile smileys. So 'hey ho' means take it to another thread does it. So you say this is a Noddy internet forum but spend ages writing out replies!!! Where werer the formal quotes anyway? You were making a comment that LC gave a poor response and you were prepared to give him slack that is all I was commenting on. To be fair you were not using your postas a anti RL theme. I do not agree that LC was never going to side with RL in fact there was much concern with some fans that he was so undecided which way he was going to fall. If you are intimating that you have the ear of LC that would not surprise me with the way you balance your replies.
-
I heard the swing lowe but it was hardly audible at the front of the Northam, for me Kelvins reaction when we scored the equaliser summed it up for the team.He clapped the fans for staying behind the team and that is credit to the fans who sang the OWTS. Stu Im surprised at your attitude, but to me the anti Pompey songs are the things that drive me crazy, why give them any thought at our stadium. We will just lower ourselves to their low standards.
-
nonsense you had Gregory? and the owners before that I can't reacll their name but were local builders.Thye both lost fortunes trying to get you up and then you went skint. Your fans abused them over at least 20 years.Probably before your time as Pompey were not in the PL then.
-
The first line I kept as you realise it was not a good response but the 'Hey Ho' remark was an acceptance of the goings on even though you were not happy. If RL had given you such a reply would you have been so understanding? The list is artisitc licence as LC was nearly going to back RL but decided to at the last moment and the word hate is probably not the case.

When money in the bank is looking like it may become worthless or the ogre of inflation raises its head people run to art and antiques. The prices were higher than expected because the buyer knows that Hirst's pieces will hold their value or even go up. People with money in the main look forward in ways to protect the value. In times of inflation antiques and art are a hedge against this, the thought of buying a piece of antique furniture that will last for generations against buy 5 times a decade at Ikea will become more pertinent as times goes on. I understand most people would rather modern pieces but a lot of the savvy buy something that lasts and appreciates in time.I myself would not buy a Hirsts work but many other things that ae on the market are affordable and waiting to go up in value

I see your user name, I assume that is when you first started attending if so you would have seen highs and lows.Get yourself down there and give the team a shout you dont have to sing pro Lowe songs.

She is over 21 but very decerning, although she let her standards slip as she has a boyfriend who is an Everton fan (of all the teams in the country apart from Pompey she chooses the team I hate most) MB always says hello and so if you care to do so that will be great.

Yorkie we used to get to the turnstiles at the Archers hours before they opened so we could get to the front right behind the goal, freezing cold we waited and then have to smile meekly as a father squeezed his kid in a minute before kick off. There are so many memories flooding back of being behind the goal. A lad who was a friend as a kid who is a steward at the main entrance now being punched by a Man u fan for no reason. How Jackson the Palace keeper (cant recall his first name) did something that got the fans backs up and the abuse he took got to him and he let in 6. Or the comments Bob Wilson got after he broke Hugh Fishers leg when he came and dived at his feet (Hughie was never the same player again) Gordon West in the practice before we played Everton and he went into the net to pick a ball up and me shouting to him 'that's right get some practice' and him looking up at me with a killing stare and then he smiled. It soon went as we scored in the first few minutes and I said it again.I didnt get the same response but Everton went on and beat us soundly. Some of my happiest days of my life there with my oldest brother and a few mates.

that is alos a blo### good idea.
