Incorrect. Salz has not made a bid, nor is he in due diligence.
-
The more I hear about Mr Wotte the more I am convinced he has to go along with Mr Gore.
-
It is not how much you have but whether you have enough, when managed well, to make a difference.
-
I find it all very amusing. Calm down everyone, it is a non story, it will not be happening. Whilst I do not know the identity of the two who have proved funds I do know it is not Lowe.

For the first time in years I've got a big smile on my face.

The Administrator said the interested parties had an NDA and he was not abe to identify them. It works both ways. No one knows who the parties are so stop looking and wait and see. I am very hopeful we will survive as a club. Things are moving quickly but as yet the preferred bidder has not been identified by the Administrator. Middle of next week is my guess but it might take longer. He has said there are two who have proved funds wth another possibility. Patience is a virtue -
I think those who thought it good fun should realise you were commiting a criminal offence likely to end in a visit to the local Magistrates, a fine and a banning order.

Watched it all from Itchen Block 5. Absolutely disgraceful. Don't balme the Burnley fans, don't blame the Police, don't blame the Stewards. This was mindless home supporters. With that and the result you would think I am sad but I am not. We are nearly there and we do have a future. Things are moving fast. I am not able to say more, nor do I know the identity of either of the two parties who have proved substantial funds. Prepare for league one people

Did you actually read it G? Don't let poster reputation cause you to react without thought. That is what many do to you and it is as boring as f..k when they do.
-
Fair points and worthy of note. For me weighing up the advantages and disadvantages I would prefer private ownership for now. In my opinion anyone who thinks a new owner/s will be in it to lose money is barking mad. Whoever comes in with substantial funds will want the club to live within its means and generate a profit over a period of time. The days of a sugar daddy in it for the fun have long gone as far as I am concerned.
-
Sorry Steve you are beginning to get boring now.

We have 2 who have proved substantial funds and are now undertaking due diligence. Hopefully that will lead to a bid but there is no certainty.
-
No problem. So far I have been told that 2 parties have proved funds and are undertaking due diligence. Once that is complete we all hope they will then present an "offer" document but of course they may walk away, there is no certainty. I doubt the directors box will tell you anything today. Hope this helps

Above is only part of Derry's post but I can vouch for what he says. -

Forget the people. The Trust registered as an Industrial and Provident Society with the Registrar of Friendly Societies. As such all its actions and conduct will be regulated by the Financial Services Authority under the provisions of the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts, 1965 - 1978. This will be the vehicle, should it be necessary. The likelyhood is that new democratic elections would be held and many new faces put forward to revive the credability, communication and proactivity of the Trust. But let us hope it is not necessary -
He is cheap at £100,000 a year but tactically naive when it comes to English football. I am hearing rumours (not directly from players or their families I must emphasise) that many of the players are getting fed up with his diamond system and how they are supposed to play it. That fits with what we are now seeing on the pitch during games...clueless and vunerable to wide attacking opposition players. Midfield left and right in the diamond being isolated and kept out of the game by the long ball! May be that is why Lallana is not developing, and goood players like Surman and Schneiderlin look poor when they are put into those positions. What is worse, he does not seem to have learned from the poor performances. New owner must mean new Manager (not a coach) in my opinion

MLT was a wonderful player and a great football pundit but sometimes, like us, he wanders into arears where he is only getting one side and that can lead to bias interpretation. I am all for Matt leading the charge for support of the football club but he should not get into the blame game without having an ear of both sides of the argument. That, in my opinion, is what 19C was trying to say. As for Leon Crouch, without him at this testing time we might not have got as far as the Burnley game as a club. It was as fine as that. Leon Crouch is helping prop up this football club at present. A true supporter. And those that know me well know I do not heap praise on Leon easily

If we are still about next season (the vibes I am getting are that we will find a buyer) the club needs to get back to living within its means. Anyone who thinks season tickets at £250 or match tickets at £15 are going to be disappointed. I suspect season ticket price around £400 (before any concessions) and match tickets (again before concessions) at £20 and £22 depending on your seat.

As I read it he is leaving immediately. Assume we can call Lumb in to replace him mid match? Edit, yes Lumb in the 11 now http://www.rosebowlplc.com/news/marcus_north_called_up_to_australian_odi_squad/

Have you met Nick illingsworth and talked to him about Saints? He is a decent bloke who only wants what is best for Saints. I know of some who shared your view but then when they met him on personal level changed their views. -

I am sure Derry will make sure they understand that at the meeting. -

Then I no longer wish to be involved Dave. That was not our original plan. -

Well done, you just sit there and criticise supporters who are giving up there time to try to see this club has a future.
