  1. What a load of rubbish. How do I know? Well Andrew Cowan was dining at a time that 19C was posting on here and I can assure you he did not have his laptop with him. I also know 19C so can be firm on this.
  2. But they cannot fall within the zone without the end of season deduction. They have 60 points. 4th from bottom have 47.
  3. My understanding is as follows. In the recent past Administration meant a 10 point penalty applying immediately. Then clubs like Leeds went into Administration because they knew they would be relegated anyway. The league decided to tighten up as follows: A cut off date of 4th Thursday in March was applied. Any club who went into Administration after that date had the 10 point penalty suspended until the end of the season. If they were in the relegation zone the 10 point penalty is carried over to the next season If they are out of the relegation zone the 10 point penalty applied this season. If that relegated the club so be it. The 10 point penalty is not carried over. The carry over is to close the Leeds type loophole. Source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/6736997.stm Stockport will suffer their 10 points this season and remain in the League 1 or will be relegated to League 2 depending on results of last day games but will not carry the 10 points over to lnext season. HTH
  4. Damn!! That's my bet buggered.
  5. It was a joke! Not meant to offend. Sorry if it did.
  6. I am confident he will not return in any capacity (other than as a football supporter) although I have heard he refuses to step inside SMS if Stanley has paid money to go.
  7. Someone not mentioned on this forum so far is favourite for me. Evens at present.
  8. http://www.rosebowlplc.com/pages/england-v-australia-odi-09-September-2009/ The link should help R.
  9. I have not seen or heard any evidence that Lowe is involved in any consortium at present looking at SFC or any chance he is trying to come back. The NDA's are holding firm and Mr Fry is saying nothing which might identify those at presently interested. The guys from Guernsey are too up front and that stinks of tyre kickers. There are at least two very interested parties. Let us hope there is more news from the Administrator later this week. All this speculation, despite being fun and keeping posters interest up, is just that, speculation and most very wide of the mark. You might say, "how do you know?" and my retort "how do you know I do not"
  10. I have just listened to the local Guernsey BBC news. Not a mention.
  11. Who is putting this story about? Not the Administrator. Not those on NDA's. So it must be pure speculation. I was hopeful of some sort of update from the Administrator today even if it is to say he has received a bid for the club following due diligence. Let's just wait and see.
  12. Incorrect. Salz has not made a bid, nor is he in due diligence.
  13. The more I hear about Mr Wotte the more I am convinced he has to go along with Mr Gore.
  14. It is not how much you have but whether you have enough, when managed well, to make a difference.
  15. I find it all very amusing. Calm down everyone, it is a non story, it will not be happening. Whilst I do not know the identity of the two who have proved funds I do know it is not Lowe.
  16. The Administrator said the interested parties had an NDA and he was not abe to identify them. It works both ways. No one knows who the parties are so stop looking and wait and see. I am very hopeful we will survive as a club. Things are moving quickly but as yet the preferred bidder has not been identified by the Administrator. Middle of next week is my guess but it might take longer. He has said there are two who have proved funds wth another possibility. Patience is a virtue
  17. I think those who thought it good fun should realise you were commiting a criminal offence likely to end in a visit to the local Magistrates, a fine and a banning order.
  18. Watched it all from Itchen Block 5. Absolutely disgraceful. Don't balme the Burnley fans, don't blame the Police, don't blame the Stewards. This was mindless home supporters. With that and the result you would think I am sad but I am not. We are nearly there and we do have a future. Things are moving fast. I am not able to say more, nor do I know the identity of either of the two parties who have proved substantial funds. Prepare for league one people
  19. Did you actually read it G? Don't let poster reputation cause you to react without thought. That is what many do to you and it is as boring as f..k when they do.
  20. Fair points and worthy of note. For me weighing up the advantages and disadvantages I would prefer private ownership for now. In my opinion anyone who thinks a new owner/s will be in it to lose money is barking mad. Whoever comes in with substantial funds will want the club to live within its means and generate a profit over a period of time. The days of a sugar daddy in it for the fun have long gone as far as I am concerned.
  21. Sorry Steve you are beginning to get boring now.
  22. We have 2 who have proved substantial funds and are now undertaking due diligence. Hopefully that will lead to a bid but there is no certainty.
  23. No problem. So far I have been told that 2 parties have proved funds and are undertaking due diligence. Once that is complete we all hope they will then present an "offer" document but of course they may walk away, there is no certainty. I doubt the directors box will tell you anything today. Hope this helps
  24. I do not remember saying anything? Link please
