My money is on us not finding a buyer. Bid on the table rejected by Administrator. Pinnacle led bid never materialised. Pinnacle saying they can still put something together suggests they are looking for a money man again. Unlikely in my opinion. Genuine overseas interest this morming seems not to have materialised later this afternoon. Plenty of genuine best intentions but when push comes to shove the real money men fail the test. I don't expect a positive outcome to our Administration. I am quite depressed about the whole situation this evening

Safe journey Si.

Would not worry to much about them heralding Le Tissier as a supporter. Le Tissier plays golf with Lynam and is a good friend. What if Le Tisier was the one who went to Lynam and asked him to look for investors? I do not know this has happened but it is a thought. There was a written bid tabled and it is possible the Pinnacle interest panicked as they were still at the preparation stage so wanted to get it out in the public domain and hope that a wave of support would delay any decision. All we all want and I include Green, Jackson & Le Tissier in this, is a club we can support in Div 1 next season. Providing whoever comes in can stabalise the situation, have a little money to strengthen the team and a plan to take us forward and restore some of our former glory that will do for me

Why are we arguing with a Pompey supporter about Pompey matters. This is a Saints forum. Take it to the Lounge....no wait the Muppet forum is better. Back on track, I hope something is sorted on Monday. I do not know who is behind the Pinnacle interest but from a few who do they tell me it will be positive for Saints. Nothing wrong with the other bid on the table either. Just wonder if something might come from the left field next week. However for the present the Pinnacle one seems to be in the driving seat but time is running out.

From the comments Fry makes to the media even he does not seem ITK at times:rolleyes:

Fair enough Robbie. It is harmless enough from you:p

I think someone is winding you up Holbury. On one occassion when 19 posted, at the same time Andrew Cowen was sat down eating. I know, I was in the room at the time. I also know who 19 is and he is definately not Andrew Cowen. The owners of this forum will confirm.

For someone with your education and standing within your employment I find your comments suprising

Interesting you say "ultimately what their motives are" If my guess is correct it still sits comfortably with me.

Well said that man

One of the biggest problems with information on Saints ownership is that those enthusiastic to inform and those anxious to receive forget that we are in shifting sands. What may be perfectly good and honest information from sources can quickly be changed by events.

Isabel is perfectly ok as a spelling

That has never been made clear. I assume when they need to pay the players. I would suggest next Thursday may be the latest as that is likely to be when the wages need to be paid.

It's not over until it's over. Thank God it's not over and they are still negotiating. I have received no information from the contacts of both the front runners since early this morning but the fact talks are still going on is encouraging. I can wait.

Nope.

Highly unlikely in my opinion

He has to do what is best for the Creditors BUT if that meant the end for Saints who would want to employ his company as Administrators with this public (and it will make headlines) failure. Don't you worry he will be working furiously for Saints survival in some form but if your text is correct it looks bad.

If someone has purchased or offered to purchase the Stadium alone I am getting a bad feeling that the present 2 groups at the table will abandon talks. The Staduim was an income stream and essential as part of a business package.
-
I do not see this as a problem. All it means is that no one is prepared to purchase the shares of Southampton Leisure Holdings plc. In my opinion it does not change the status of the talks in place at present. It simply send the final message to the shareholders that they will not get a return on their investment.
-
Absolute nonsence. They may announce the preferred bidder but that is all. More due diligence before and owner is announced. That may take weeks.
-
I hope you ar wrong as well.

My understanding is that both parties at the table would have no problem with the deposit requirements should that be good business practice and normal in these circumstances.
