I am not going to comment further on the subject Duncan. I think it is best that way.

Fixtures will be released on 17th June http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/KeyDates/0,,10794~1357319,00.html

This was coming from other places initially. I had a similar call yesterday lunch time. The information came via someone not involved in the bidding process but that person refused to give any details of why it would fail. I just shrugged it off as these sorts of rumours will happen until the deal is sorted. The signs are still encouraging as far as I am concerned.

Good post. That is how I see it too.

I was not going to post any more until the "pinnacle" bid was signed sealed and delivered as I am happy with what they have to offer so far BUT this vendetta against Marc Jackson is totally unfair. I and a few others know more than we are prepared to say. We know what went on, we know the money men and we know the reasons it has not happened so far for the "Jackson" Group. A lot of the issues are why some on the "Pinnacle" investors dropped out. Many who know what it is all about are very supportive of Pinnacle. But we also know many of the issues. I will take a back seat again and "Pinnacle" have our best wishes and support. All we want is Saints to support in Div 1 next season. Unless you know all the facts, shut up and just support the future of SFC

Good early engagement. Fingers crossed for a smooth takeover and a steady and fruitful future. Well done so far to everyone involved.
-
Oh yes he did. You do not know what went on. I do to a certain extent and Jackson was a serious and realistic contender. This has not come from him but others also involved in matters. Forget the past.

Well said Phil. Let's have few beers when this is all over.

Wow, go out in the garden for a few hours and come back to this great news. Long way to go but it is looking good. What a coaster ride so far. Let's hope for calmer times. Do not know the details but good friends say this will secure a long term future if it completes. Come on you Red & Whites. Well done Tony Lynam. Hard luck Green & Jackson but I know your main aim was to secure a future for our club so I know you will be relieved and supportive. Just hope it has not cost you too much financially to get to this stage.

Buggar, can't get that tune out of my head now.

They were fun times although a little scary when one individual started hacking.

No I told him about our jaunts when I had a drink with him at the forum match.
-
I do but he has not posted anything on here since Administration and has the good sense not to.
-
He was referring to the jaunts on the Leeds and Spurs 606 forums some years back.

Dainty Dave is playing games. Have a look at his posting history. Joined 4 days after we went into Administation but seems to know what has gone on this forum and its previous format for a few years. Seems to have contacts with the Echo, hints at information from the Administrator, attacks Jackson as if he holds a personal grudge, says he is sat next to one of the creditors and now drops hints on a new buyer. Stanley hints at tommac and there is some similarity coming out. However it also sounds like HelpmeRhonda and "she" certainly had a grudge. Whoever it is I would suggest you do not trust the postings. I am not going to engage.

Are you the blast from the past? Oh you cannot answer tonight as you have used up your 3 posts.

Yep two being paid in full for failure whilst others are asked to work without pay on a promise that those who are failing day after day will sort it........NOT
-
Sad for the real people at SMS, the non football staff. They are the ones to be hit most. They cannot just walk into another club. Hope the mid day meeting will give them some encouragement but as the clock ticks the bell may begin to toll for Saints.

Bugger!!

Without tempting fate I bloody well hope so
-
So there you have it. Jackson for the English consortium, tommac for the Irish and ......Dan Williams for the overseas.

Dawson opens the bowling and takes a wicket with his 3rd ball
