  1. Think you mean me. No my average was 7MB before a line upgrade on 11th June. That is when the problem started!! They are still scratching their heads as to why the speed is so low!
  2. Well I am having problems since they upgraded my line. BT have already dug up outside. Built a new junction box, new cable but still they cannot find the problem.
  3. I was assured today from someone who knows that it is not Dan Williams behind the Pinnacle bid. Phew!!
  4. Nice to get these updates from Mr Lynam. Reading between the lines it seems to me we are still a few days away from the deal being completed. FL may make a decision today but he has mentioned other small legal matters and completion in a timely manner.
  5. Same way as you can pick out someone who has posted before but registers under a new name. It is about style, spelling and grammar and in the case of this poster, time of postings as he is in America. Then you ask other regular posters to look at the postings and form an opinion. Nothing more sinister than that.
  6. Not holding his candle. I am in the Pinnacle camp. I do not get free tickets. Ask Derry. I sit with him at games and pay my way.
  7. I had a call this afternoon asking who Mole & Mr Nice were as their postings were causing some concern . When I told him the only comment he made was :smt046 Nice to know you can make someones day. Thanks to my girls for a great fathers day as well.
  8. GM has a point though. Latest rumour doing the rounds is that Dan Williams is the "money man" That should please GM Oh, it is also rumoured that Dan Williams posts and reads this site. He registered 4 days after we went into Administration! Why would he do that?
  9. I think this is unlikely from what I am hearing from that group. Anyway, they could not interfere whilst the exclusivity period was in place and although it seems to have ended last night I do not expect the group to have much influence in the next few days. It is either the other group in touch with the Administrator or others listed in the initial post.
  10. Yes and I saw your very persuasive comments on another thread today after I posted this and the earlier comment on this thread.
  11. How can anyone on here protest to the FL when they do not know what they are protesting against? "Pinnacle" have not said what the problem is. Fry has not said what the problem is. The FL have not said what the problem is. Hold the protests until there is an official statement. Until then it is all speculation
  12. Of course you know about the other two. But let's leave it there.
  13. No they are covered by European common law and statute like everyone else including the British Government.
  14. He was the first to slag off Wilde, he was the first to slag off Dan Williams so he has a good track record MP. On this case he was repeating a quote from Tony Lynam which has some relevance to the reported issues yesterday.
  15. One of the problems with this, like other rumours, is that we do not know the full facts! We, like the media, are assuming that it is all to do with the 10 points deduction and the new owners signing away a right to appeal. This just does not fit. It is to simplistic and full of legal holes. What if it is all to do with the fact that the new owners are asking for confirmation that the golden share will be transfered to the new company but the football league not prepared to give that undertaking until the club is out of administration (puting aside the argument of whether it is the club or just SLH in Admin). A catch 22 but something that can be resolved following the FL emergency meeting on Monday. Tony Lynam seems to think the remaining issues can be overcome. It has to be something simpler than the signing away the right of appeal. Malwhinney has already gone on record on that point. Unless of course there was a time limit for the appeal which has passed or a deadline for coming out of Administration passed requiring a special meeting by the FL to sanction "readmittance" Plenty of speculation but no real knowledge of the facts! We need to wait and see what develops next week.
  16. The Echo do not know the identity of the potential new owner. They have been given rumours but no evidence. Here is one for you whilst we are in fantasy land - Dainty Dave
  17. Of course if they are unable to complete by Friday there are a few options. 1. They withdraw - unlikely at this late stage but possible 2. They pay the wages at next payday as a further non refundable deposit to maintain exclusivity - If the Administrators are happy with their progress and explanation this is a possibility, may even be a probability but I have no inside track. 3. The Administrator removes their exclusivity and others, new and old come back to the table and fight it out with Pinnacle. Of couse we all hope they complete on or before Friday but whilst 2 would be palatable 1 and 3 would not be popular with anyone. Let us see what unfolds in the next 48 hours.
  18. I have heard nothing to suggest the backer has pulled out yet.
  19. As far as I am aware LeTiss lives near West End. I actually know which road he lives but will not put it up here. Doggface has already confirmed this. Perhaps Ringwood is his second home.
  20. When all the information has been checked (final due diligence) all will be put to the Principal by Pinnacle for a final decision whether to proceed or not with the purchase.
  21. What a barmy thread. As Glenda Jackson once said proving the nonsence of this thread I used to believe that anything was better than nothing. Now I know that sometimes nothing is better.
  22. See - Nothing can be created out of nothing.
  23. I thought of saying nothing because I know nothing but although nothing is boring I have decided to say nothing. Nothing wrong with that.
