Pro dog breeders are weird and so is the whole show that goes round it! I have a Staffie/spaniel (supposively) cross, looks like a puppy lab with muscles of a staffie. Soft as sh1t, but acts like one too!!! He is a lot lovelier looking than most of the breeds that they continue to make suffer, and probably a better temprement as well!!!

Got to say the Ship is far to poncey looking now! Didnt like being in there one bit! King's Head is alright.

Tonight - Chill-axing with mates round mine. Tomorrow - A few friends coming over in morning, go out for lunch, then footie (and taking 2 yank and 1 essex girls who have never been to footie before). |Have pizza and then a bit of d&b innit! Sunday - Going to Stonehenge so the Yanks can pretend it's amazing and then do quiz in evening. Monday - Going to sleep and play Civ4 all day!

Am going with 4 others, two of which are American girls who have never been to a game before, should be interesting!!!

Not really true as there alot of pubs in the Unthank Rd/Golden Triangle area where the students live. But they are proper pubs not bars. But there is one down nearly every street and most of them are decent enough boozers, good mix of both students and locals.

Thought I'd start a thread for things/places in Southampton of note to you that don't neccesarily get mentionned, like a place you like to go to every now and then that others may not know of. I have become aware of how little I really know of East Southampton as I live in Shirley and was brought up in C Ford. I occasinally like to take time and walk the walls, although obvious I feel many take it for granted and that little 'Old Town' area is neglected.

Lived there for 3 years (uni). A nice city, but not much happening. Was glad to come back here! Lots of good pubs with good beer. If you're interested in historical buildings it's nice. If not your pretty f**ked.

Friday - Went round mates house and played 'Rock Band' on his Xbox 360 was great fun, got merry on Vodka-redbull! Saturday - Did f all all day. Went to mates house for an 'Olympic Party' (was just 7 of us eating chinese food), but got drunkard on ze zider. Sunday - F all again. Went to pub quiz, didn't come second from last for once!

V True. One of the last proper 'pubs' in city centre! Good for night out, nice on warm days and match days. Run by a couple youngish lads who seemingly love sci-fi and films (movies posters and film statues/toys above bar). Very friendly atmosphere especially on match days, can be very very busy though if hot day.

Ham sandwich, an apple and two clementines. Also had a bag of chocolate raisins earlier!
