  1. We don't have money now and this why he was brought in. I agree with your sentiments but in 'reality' we have no money to get anyone else in either players or manager. He is supposively an expert/experienced at manageing with no money and with only kids while still playing attractive and attacking football, which it is but with no end product!
  2. I think it would help if most of the journalists were from or at least supported Saints, and therefore would have the interests of the club and the fans with them.
  3. Funnily enough Jack Boyle came into my FIFA 09 youth system. I thought it was randomised as doesn't come up with the proper youth team. Maybe I was wrong.
  4. He is knackered, should really reitre.
  5. The flixi idea is a good one in my opinion. Has tempted me to use it as I can't currently afford a full ST, but this may mean I may take one up in the new year as should be getting some pay back from April from pay dispute.
  6. I've been with Sky since May time and has always been good hasn't at all cut out on me, although a ,little slow at times but not often, this completely different to Virgin who were sh1t and the customer service was atrocious as we cancelled with them, they forgot to put it on their system, so we got a letter saying we owed them money, we phoned up and they admitted we didn't them after several calls and wranglings with the complaints department and chasing them up. We got another letter from Virgin, we phoned up, and it wasn't put on their system again and the guy who said we didn't have to pay was holiday, this is when we got a letter from the balliffs. This went on the same way fro about 2 months back and forth, etc. We got it sorted was fine......then a month later we got another letter from the ballifs as Virgin hadn't notified them to check the system to show we didn't have to pay it. It's been a couple weeks since the last phone calls so hopefully nothing more. This started in May when we moved house!
  7. Nick Griffin
  8. I never meant we should take him on, I meant could it help us as it might unstabilise them and make it harder for them to find form, therefore helping us out by getting worse results than us. The more teams that are worse than us the better it is for us, simple as, not that we still don't have to fight ourselves though. They are broke and probably could not afford to appoint anyone better than Boothroyd unless they take a risk.
  9. Could Watford's decision to sack Ady Boothroyd be our gain? This could really help us especilly with Watford being broke and prob not afford a decent replacement.
  10. Got to say I saw him at Winchester Station the other week on a Wednesday waiting for a train to London (was a Champ League night).
  11. Tonight: Mates round for cider drinking and filmage and possibly curry. What a treat! Tomorrow: Watch sports all day maybe bit of FIFA, evening at El Hobbito Sunday: Hung the f**k over!
  12. Fair enough, what happened to the nurseries that used to be around that were free/cheap like went to?
  13. It's happening, not me implementing professor. I meant for the unemployed as I said dole, I was using it as example to help the community rather than just pay people. PS there are Child care schemes and nursaries for young children btw!
  14. I think the new unemployment plan they were going to bring was a good one, ie Unemployed for a year you'll have to do a months worth of community work to get your benefits/dole and after 2 years a full time job in the community. Kills 2 birds with one stone, more communmity work done and people working for their money.
  15. I think we will scrape 2-1 today! We will play well and get first goal, then we'll concede staright away in second half but scrape a goal from McGoldrick in the couple of minutes after us passing round them for for last 20 minutes and dragging shots all afternoon. You can thank me after the game with my prediciton in cider tokens! Thank you. Si.
  16. Seems to me Holmes is out until January so we got an extra winger, especially getting rid of Dyer. Makes perfect sense and hope he comes on and proves himself. I really like the idea that we will become a team known for giving good young players a chance to play good passing football experience. He probably isn't palying in the Milwall team as they want to play with older sloggers rather than with young fast players.
  17. He would clear our debt, instantly helping us out financially and then make money by selling us off for a higher price to someone wealthier hopefully! What a tragedy!
  18. United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
  19. As cricket has it's own forum I don't see why other sports such as rugby shouldn't either. Motorsports is pretty much covered in the 'Motor' bit
  20. Bought a house this year + credit crunch = No Saints games for Si. :*-( Do feel guilty sat at home in Shirley listening to Saints at SMS on the radio!
  21. He's actually a left-back as well! Surman ain't a bad player but is not a left-back. How well has Surman improved since being put back into the midfield from the last 2 games?
  22. TBF as long as we sustain a system that purely exists to grab for money then you will always get this eventually. Banks, hedge funds, stoke brockers, stock markets, etc exist purley to get as much money as possible. They are not being 'selfish' or 'greedy' they are just doing what they designed to do. If you rely on this system then you can't expect these people to be altruistic and deny themselves profit for 'the good of the economy' or the nation, etc.
  23. I'm not sure if they will make you sell the house to pay for the care. Care is free (i.e. funded by Social Services) unless you have over £20,000 worth of savings, I don't know how this is affected from house ownership. But maybe an idea to, as said above, change deeds and hand over money to someone they trust. Of course I'm not encouraging you to trying to rip off Adult Social Serivicews though! ;-)
  24. Small crowd less pressure 2-1 to Saints!
  25. The restaurant down St mary's had a stall at the Carribean Festival at Mayflower Park and the Jerk Chicken was awesome. If the rest of the food is that good then it looks good. Have been meaning to try both of them for a while. I can't find a website for either of them.
