Got mine. Boom!

Wellington Arms is a cracking pub, probably best one in Freemantle. For a very quiet, but very good pint go to the Waterloo Arms. Freemantle Arms is also a good friendly local tucked away in the back streets. Shirley Park Inn (Shirley Park Road, just off Romsey Road) is my local and another cracking pub, friendly local atmosphere, unlike most of the pubs on the High Street, good beer and friendly staff. The Crown is suprisingly alright as well. Avoid: The Manor, Salisbury Arms, Windsor, Shirley Park Hotel. Good thing about Shirley-Freemantle area is that there are loads of pubs around, many that I haven't ventured into yet.

Me and mate going, be leaving at lunchtime so plenty of time for drinkies!!!
-
I suppose I would support Eastleigh as really they are my local club, we could convince them to use their away kit (red) as home kit, move back to their original home in Swaythling......

Not being funny, but is she implying he's slightly autistic? But that wouldn't really explain the music bit you've said about. Not personally implying anything about your child Baj.

That's it! Our season is over. Let's accept relegation now and let Forest stay up as we're already down without Pulis!

Not his latest DVD! Tut-tut! Tinselworm is.

alex a good bet. Big screen and a decent pub.

I like the idea of not just using statues to represent our past such as plaques murals, mosaics, or something like the gates at Anfield to remeber Shankly. I'm sure I heard that we were the first English team to field a black player in the 50's? Something like that deserves a plaque and would help the 'Racism just ain't Saintly' campaign.

Coming from a suggestion on the Fan Parilament thread about a statue to Charlie Miller ("Father of Brazilian Football"- St Mary's player who went on to start up football in Brazil), is there any other serious suggestions of you lot would like to see round SMS?
-
That's actually a really good idea. WOuld like St mary's to look a bit more reflective of our history as a club, and this would represent this is a global way! ;-)

Friday - Few pubs in Freemantle/Shirley. Saturday - Glad I accepted mate's st and saw Saints finally win a game, hurt leg from jumping up 3 times unexpectantly! Went to my mate's charity do, was quite good, then went out in Beastleigh! Sunday - Felt proper rough, saw Ed Byrne at Southampton Guildhall! 8.5/10

Clubs from years gone by in Southampton...

I am not of 'your age' but there is a DJ Hammy who plays at the Dorchester in Bevois Valley, I assume it's the same one! -
Musically = Legend. Otherwise = Bigot.

You lot are making the whole of Soton sound aewful when in reality most of it's fine! Vast majoriyt of Shirley is fine, in fact quite nice, especially upper Shirley. Freemantle is not a bad area at all any more, some of Maybush is alright now. Behind Lordshill is Lord's Wood which is like American suburbia! Even Bevois Valley area is no where as near as bad as it was a few years back! With regards to Millbrok, it's a massive covering area and there are pockets of sh!t, but most of it just looks rough!

The funny thing about humour is that you actually need to be funny in the first place!

Who will you support if Saints go really under ?

Would be Eastleigh as my second team already, but can't see us disappearing completely. They could then move back to their original Swaythling home and use the old Ten Acxres site as trraining and reserves. Think I would watch more rugby and cricket anyway if this scenario did ever actually happen! -
Worst you've ever pi5sed off your parents

When I got internally excluded at school (wish I had got suspeneded like my other mates, at least they were at home!) for buying weed in school! I asked my mum when we went back to the school to see the headmaster if she was angry with me and she used the old: "I'm not angry with you Simon, just disappointed!" :-( My Dad used to hit me with a shoe, a belt and back of his hand. Always had to do it though as I was a bit of a sh*t, shows it doesn't really work that welL! -

He's sh1te and lazy! Na, not really, I likes him a lot! I think with a decent run in the team as a Left Midfield or maybe even CAM, and with some positive encouragement I think he'd be our best player! Boom, I've said it!
