  1. whip round raising prob £1,000 at most won't really help a debt of £60 million would be good as a ****take though, if we could raise about £40 and give it to them with one of those novelty cheques
  2. sounds promising, I hope we sign another central midfielder as we are low on quality in depth in this position
  3. Need a Paterson replacement (young, back up striker) so maybe could do a job
  4. I think Antonio does have a lot of end product, he scores a few goals and makes some good through balls. Sometimes he'll overhit a ball but we always look much more dangerous when he is on the pitch. We'll have to wait a bit to see how Otsemobor and Seabourne work out. Also its not just spotting the league top scorer, ex premiership etc players, its actually convincing them to come to Saints that Pardew is good at.
  5. Got to trust Pardew's scouts, he hasn't made a bad signing yet imo (unsure about Otsemobor but will give him a few games at least, and 6 month signing is good business) Also if he's interesting Championship clubs then he can't be too bad
  6. Southampton are in transfer talks with Falkirk after increasing their offer for Bairns midfielder Scott Arfield by a third to £400,000 rising to £1m with add-ons, but Preston and Huddersfield are also interested. (Daily Express) http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/154645/Southampton-in-talks-to-push-through-Arfield-deal Anyone know much about him?
  7. Nail. Head. Going into adminstration is harsh on the fans.
  8. Their chairman don't exist, and their team's a load of w*nk team's a load of w*nk team's a load of w*nk 2nd verse to Pompeys going down, they've got f-all in the bank

I was worried about him at the start of the game but he played a blinder today. Loved it when he missed the ball and clattered their player, put 110% in
  10. He was our best player against MK Dons, got a goal and played 2 brilliant through balls
  11. Wilkins raves about his movement off the ball, hopefully will pick up on lots of Lambert flick ons.
  12. Great signing, sounds like he will definitely improve the squad
  13. According to the mirror, all of Derbys players are up for sale http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Derby-in-crisis-as-every-player-is-put-up-for-sale-Exclusive-article296073.html most of their players CDAJFU
  14. We have to trust Pardews judgement on letting Paterson go, seeing as he watches him in training every day and most of us have only seen a couple of subs appearances. Is always a shame to let a youth player go though, often I wish we'd kept Blackstock, Best, Dyer and Ranger a while longer.
  15. Apart from the penalty and antonio corner decision that ref was spot on giving yellows to James, Kelvin, Holmes and a red to Morgan for dissent, unsporting behaviour and violent behavior... its a disgrace when players crowd round the referee and completely pointless - I've never seen a ref change his decision because players crowd round him insulting him. I don't mind players picking up cards for cynical fouls, breaking up play and getting stuck in, but Pardew needs to instill some discipline to stop us picking up stupid bookings. We'll miss Morgan for the next three games now, which is even worse as Hammond is out for about the same amount of time.
  16. Could be a good player to get us up next season, not really one for the future but we need a striker now. Was hoping to see an appearance from Saga last night
  17. good to hear
  18. cheers, missed all of the millwall game at the match, was still celebrating :-(

    lol
  21. It seemed like they were persuading him to go! saying he was already quite old, could be his last big chance, especially as he could get injured so he would be tempted to take the big money move, newcastle fans give good support etc
  22. Ban him from Saint Marys!
  23. picking up the tickets from SMS later, looking forward to this one. so is london bridge the best place to drink before the match?
  24. with him and Antonio on the right, thats quite a pacy side of the pitch. and by the sounds of it, quite a defensively irresponsible one too! I'm pleased with this signing, he must be better than Lloyd James at right back, and Murty is injured so often we need some cover.
  25. no. he'll play 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 as ususal, he's not playing football manager. Don't see any teams playing 3-5-2 nowadays.
