Sad times

Seeing as flying out to Spain (which by the way, has taken all week... Has Levy gone by Balloon?) seems to be the deal clincher, I'd be surprised if Les hasn't been onto easyJet to sort an emergency flight out.

If the fee is 10-12m, I cannot believe we wouldn't be matching that. The only real reason I can see that we'd miss out is if Toby has told us that he wants to go to Spurs, so we walk away. Though that flies in the face of what RK said this week. Something doesn't quite add up.

Didn't particularly enjoy Radzinki's stoppage time winner against us for Everton at their place around 02/03, even though we were battered for virtually the whole game. But yeah, Adrian Heath's probably the one, even though it was a few years before my time!

I guess it comes down to whether West Ham are a bigger club than us...

Yeah I think if I was a bit older and a bit more wise to Saints letdown, it wouldn't have bothered me so much. However, I was a 12 year old lad dreaming of cup success and couldn't quite fathom what the hell was going on! I reckon we could have made the final that year... wouldn't we have played Liverpool in the quarter-final if we'd have beaten Tranmere, then played Wycombe in the semi-final? Or am I thinking of different years

Bit annoying they have changed the Everton game, love a Saturday 3 o'clock kick off. I thought we'd have given them plenty of opportunity to stick us on the box already with potential Europa League changes to Sunday, without having to mess around with the other games!

They've certainly been linked with some very good players, the Polish lad we were after and also Konoplyanka (sp) I guess we'll have to see if they actually pull any of these off, but give them their due, they are seemingly giving it a good go!
