We’ve got 6 homes games that we would have to win all of you’d think if we were to have a chance - West Ham, Brentford, Wolves, Palace, Bompey and Fulham. Plus Ipswich and Leicester away. That ain’t going to happen. Not forgetting that our squad is pretty crap for this level.

Not a big follower of Italian football, but am I right in saying he followed De Rossi after he got sacked, and fans never took to him because they worship De Rossi and hate the ownership? Could be thinking of someone else.
-
Second choice to the best pound for pound in Europe. How lucky are we!
-
Still ignoring the question then?
-
Cyborgs can’t compute irony, so appreciate it must be tough for you. Incidentally, I notice you still haven’t responded to my questions on the running of the club, any thoughts / opinions on that?
-
The irony of this is fantastic.

Massively overstating the ability of saints players on a make believe computer game isn’t something I’d be shouting about. Going back to the original point, id be interested to know your opinion on; - do you think someone, who has spent pretty much all their career in rugby performance, is suitable to be heading up football operations at a premier league football club? - would you expect a head of football operations to be heavily involved in football decisions? E.g. picking and appointing a new manager? - do you believe the current DOF has the credentials to successfully pick a manager? - do you think the management at the top level of the club right now is acceptable? - what do you think about the SR ownership right now and do you think the club would benefit from having someone highly experienced in running a football club involved in day to day affairs at SFC?
-
“oohh look at me, I give my opinion to a computer game.”
-
So you have no opinions (as per). Another fantastic thought provoking contribution to the forum.
-
Well as DOF, you’d hope he is responsible for most if not all footballing decisions. If he’s not, then what’s the point of his existence and we should be bringing someone in to properly replace Wilcox. If he is, then what qualifications has he got to be heading up football operations at a premier league football club in the first place? Head of performance at the academy at Man City, 6 years ago, hardly seems an adequate base.

6/1 - it means either someone has put a bet on, or bookies amending odds to try and get gullible punters to waste their money on something that is never going to happen.
-
He was also absolutely shite against Spurs.
-
Can see him at Brighton.
-
Odds aren’t worth looking at on new managers until they get heavy odds on.
-
Röhl feels like it would be a good fit. No logic behind it, just a feeling in my plums. No chance we’re paying that compensation though, so suspect it will be Hjulmand.
-
He also hardly got a run in his favoured position. It’s hard to come in and out of the team, playing in various positions (CB, RB, CM). I think there’s a very good player in there and his loan will have done him the world of good.
-
Not sure how many you’ve had, but it’s 11 we’ve got to beat.
-
What situations can the fans accept with the new manager?
ErwinK1961 replied to Nolan's topic in The Saints
He rejoined on 5th December - when they had 5 points from 14 games… after a 5-0 defeat to Burnley… hang on a minute. -
It only took £4m to get the pound for pound best manager in Europe here, so £10m does seem far fetched.
-
Still mental to me that we somehow lost 9-0 twice with a far superior manager and a better squad.
-
Not this again… is he time sharing with Martin O’Neill?
-
£70m?! Not a chance in hell. He’ll go for probably half that.
-
Heard he’s a Farley good coach, but can crumble under pressure.
