  1. He may as well have posted that in March tbf.
  2. Well said that man.
  3. I think football fans in general struggle with the concept that a goal can go in at the near post and it NOT be the goalies fault.
  4. Really don’t understand what you are struggling to comprehend. He’ll be going as a back up, will play minimal games. And the club offered him a deal which he turned down. Are you genuinely going to be like this all summer? Tedious.
  5. Is he quite used to taking players from us? Only ones I can remember since we came up are Wanyama and PEH, where they had one year left on their contracts and we couldn’t turn down the money. And with one of those in return we got arguably one of our best full backs for a number of years. Can you genuinely see Spurs forking out what it will take for us to sell (£60-70m I suspect)? They’ve already got £60m they’ll need to lay/ have laid out for Kulusevski and Bentancur, plus they need some full back improvements.
  6. Just need City to fuck it up on Sunday to really put the icing on the cake of this rather forgettable season.
  7. That says something when that still probably wouldn’t be enough to finish below us.
  8. Fraid so, 15th no longer sewn up.
  9. 🥳🥳🥳
  10. I thought we didn’t win that because we meekly surrendered in our champions league final last night??
  11. Who cares about that, if things stay as they are… we’re guaranteed 15th! Get the champers out 🎉
  12. And was Director of Football at an extremely well run football club, that saw them get promoted to the Premier League.
  13. Other than the double barrelled boys, would people shed a tear seeing anyone else go? I wouldn’t. 9 going - would guess at; Forster, Stephens, Romeu, Redmond, Long, Bednarek, Djenepo, Broja, Valery
  14. They only bought the club in January, not sure what investment was to be expected at this point? We were in a decent run of form and there’s no real value in the January window. Makes sense for them to use that time wisely, assess the club inside and out and work out what they want to do long term. Id also like to think Ankersen helped run a successful operation at Brentford and Dragan made his money not by being a mug. And why buy the club? Not to make a quick buck, as there’s fck all worth much in this squad. Relegation will be a massive loss to them, so they are not going to just let this slide. Obviously if nothing has changed at the end of the summer window then we’ll be in the shit.
  15. Pretty sure it was Brentford at home
  16. Or it could be that Fraser and Stu are both injured, as per his press conference.
  17. Nah you must be mistaken, they hate the state so would never take anything from it.
  18. Probably the moment you thought buying a ticket was a good idea in the first place 😉
  19. Not that they’re going to need any help, but don’t expect anything from the ref. Premier League will be desperate for a final day title decider.
  20. If Ralph’s still here and he has a decent crack in pre-season, wouldn’t surprise me if he’s straight in a la Tino.
  21. In fairness, that’s a pretty good ratio for him.
  22. Never said I wanted him to stay. But if you think changing the manager is going to turn this lot into anything other than a bottom end premier league team, then maybe you should take back your telescope.
  23. Can only assume this is sarcasm.
  24. Well he’s hardly going to turn around mid season and say “nah, this lot are absolute garbage” is he. And there were plenty of pundits / rags that had predicted us to go down.
  25. Sounds good. I cannot see anyone offering us what it would take to sell, apart from possibly Man Utd
