I’d say Niemi’s only weakness was crosses, never really came for any. However, when you are as good a shot stopper as he was, he didn’t really need to. Plus Killer and Claus knew that so headed everything anyway

10 of the team pick themselves. Torn between Perraud and Tino - 50/50 for me. Quite like KWP’s attacking threat down the left, feel Perraud doesn’t offer as much going forward but is better than Tino defensively. You’d hope at home to Norwich that we’d be dominating, so could see Ralph going KWP and Tino. But would be incredibly harsh on Perraud! Might be a moot point anyway if Perraud is still positive.

I think it’s the difference between a writer who is a huge football fan and clearly has a passion for the detail, tactics etc (Carl) and one who is just doing it for a job (Dan).

As others have said, cannot see them selling him at this stage - however, if they do decide another loan is what's needed for his development, I suspect we will be top of the list. Wouldn't surprise me if we announced an extension of the loan before the end of the season. If we are lucky enough to have him another year, I hope we also look to sign another striker anyway. With goal machine Shane out of contract, would be good to find another Broja type that we can bring in for succession planning.

By that logic, how are we meant to attract a top class striker when the coaches and players aren’t good enough for our existing top class striker?

All this “let’s keep him as back up and on lower wages” - it’s not that simple though is it? Maybe Fraser doesn’t want to be back up? Maybe he wants to move on somewhere new and he’s knows the only chance he has of getting near his current wage is on a free transfer? Also, didn’t the club offer him a new contract in the summer but he turned it down? This summer is our opportunity to improve the weakest area of our team. I hope the club have some targets lined up.

It's just complete bullshit, still 'open to interpretation' and still gives referee's the ability to be as inconsistent as they see fit.
