  1. Niemi Bridge Svensson Van Dijk Clyne Morgan Wanyama Le Tiss Mane Lallana Lambert Richards, Pahars and Tadic very unlucky to miss out.
  2. Hard for us in terms of games we don’t generally win, but in comparison to everyone else I don’t think so.
  3. There is no product to end. We create nothing.
  4. Seem to remember Traore destroying us from the bench two seasons back.
  5. Until the January transfer window 😉
  6. I’m not hoping he’s injured! Someone just mentioned he might be before all the cock swinging broke out on the thread
  7. So… is Ings injured or not?
  8. Tbh not much choice… JWP, Broja, Adams… err…
  9. Saved one v Palace last season. Remember one away at Liverpool too
  10. Well, the bidding starts at £40m.. (and ends there if it’s Chelsea).
  11. Was good, wouldn’t have called it world class personally. He’s doing pretty well there so far, looks to have a point to prove.
  12. Bit of an exaggeration.
  13. Doesn’t look like it, quite a bit of rotation. You’d think their focus would be on the league so expect they’ll make numerous changes again.
  14. This.
  15. Forster, KWP, Lyanco, Bednarek, Perraud, Diallo, JWP (no-one else), Djenepo, Redmond, Tella, Broja.
  16. It’s definitely much improved on the second half of last season. And most importantly for me he’s shown he can get a side set up to defend well and he has a plan B (and possibly C). Still not going to get carried away just yet - still not won a game yet this season (tough fixtures). Next week v Wolves will give us a much better idea of where we are.
  17. I'm sure most people would.
  18. Ref generally had a bit of a shocker in the last 15 mins. Seemed to wait until we had played ourselves in before stopping for the head injury (which turned out to be a load of bollocks anyway), booked Salisu for a perfectly good tackle, didn't even look to see what advantage there was before stopping the game to second yellow Antonio.
  19. Steady now, he's had a cup game against a half hearted Newport and 20 mins (albeit exciting) against a tired West Ham defence. He looked very good, but lets wait and see how he gets on from the start over a run of fixtures before hailing him as the second coming. Plus, we don't want him to be TOO good otherwise we'll have no chance of signing him in the summer 😉
  20. I think people's issue with Redmond in particular (or at least mine), is he clearly has it in him to be better but all too often his decision making lets him down. The phase of play on Saturday summed him up - Armstrong played him in, he need to be direct, run towards goals then have a shot. Instead, he cut inside, was too negative, dallied and wasted the chance. He then got the ball back and rather than crossing to the 2/3 men in the box, blasted a pathetic shot into the stands. So he passed when he should have shot, then shot when he should have passed. Agree that it's unfair he cops more stick than others - Djenepo and Moi are equally as poor and aren't good enough. Djenepo seems to get credit because he works hard and does his defensive duties - but at the end of a day, he's an attacking player that offers us next to nothing going forward. 1 goal in 45 games (with minimal assists) is rubbish.
  21. Wonder if we could do some sort of similar buy back deal like Livramento? Only way I could see them selling him next summer
  22. It wasn’t a 4-3-3 at all.
  23. So the opposite of what you just posted in your formation picture? it was 4-1-4-1. Hence why Armstrong was isolated for pretty much the entire time he was on the pitch.
  24. Djenepo and Redmond didn’t get close enough to Armstrong to call it at 4-3-3.
