This is what I mean, they’re happy to spend £20m on someone whose only ever played championship when they could (apparently) get KWP for a mere £10m more. Think Perisic will play LWB for them.
-
Seems to be a buy back clause for Spurs rather than a release clause. Be surprised if he went back there - if they were that interested they’d have signed him this summer.
-
He also quoted £10-15m for KWP.
-
I suspect the long term plan for Tino is for him to be sold.
-
Thanks, appreciate the snippets 👍. Nice to have a couple of ITK’ers around the place again

Reckon Kabore is the 3rd medical?
-
Echoes my thoughts. Wouldn’t be surprised to see some decent outlay this window, with a view to recouping over next few years when hopefully the young guns turn into beasts.
-
Was about to say the same.
-
Surrey to Winchester not too far to see his mates. Wouldn’t mind having him back, but think that ship has long sailed unfortunately.
-
I’m not advocating games for the sake of games, but is 4 friendlies enough prep for the season?
-
So if the third medical relates to a striker, that’s incoming business done unless; - sell Redmond, Walcott, Djenepo = new 10 - sell Bednarek / Stephens = new CB (Colwill) - sell Valery = full back cover Seems fair enough to me.
-
Think I like that better than the home shirt tbh.
-
Was there actually a £40m bid? I’m sceptical about that.
-
The Cat didn’t say he wasn’t off tbf, just that it wasn’t to Newcastle.
-
Interesting.. Kami Doyle?

Thanks guys

Where has the CHO rumour come from? Must have missed that one.

With Perraud struggling I suspect KWP will be permanent left back. Would personally rather see him on the right and us invest in a left back (loaning out Small), but is what it is I guess.
-
Wonder if this is also pushing the Colwill move - obviously a very talented young player and primarily a CB, but has played LB.
-
On Dibling, seems a very odd move for him (other than money of course). Surely makes his chance of progressing into first team football much harder than it would have been here, when they can go and splurge £50m at the drop of a hat on a proven international. Also, could be wrong but seem to recall someone mention at the time of his hat trick that top clubs have been tapping him up for ages but his parents were grounded folk and keen for him to develop here as better first team prospects. Obviously something has changed
-
So would I, but don’t think it’s realistic to expect that much turnover.
-
Can cover both full back positions apparently, so would make sense.
-
Can’t see us getting another CB unless there’s more departures. Weve got 5 as it stands, if Bednarek leaves we’ve still got 4. Would need a Lyanco or Stephens to leave for that to happen.
