Maybe you guys are right maybe it is the Premier league I am finding tiresome. It is frustrating being a Saints fan though I just do not understand why we have hired a new manager who has thrown everything out the window including tactics... Just seems pretty stupid to be honest. We were doing pretty good right? What was wrong with the team setup before? Now we have this diamond formation, nobody seems to understand, everyone can see it is rubbish apart from the gaffer is he blind? I have followed Saints since I was 8 I am now 31 years old. As I said before call me a bed wetter but I am just not feeling this season and couldnt give a damm. Should of kept Mane and Pelle.....

Im losing interest with Southampton.... Had the best opportunity in recent times to go for the top 4 with players like Mane behind us and Koeman. But it is clear to see now that we are doing everything on a budget and this will come back and bite us on the ass... Call me a bedwetter or moaner I am telling it how it is we lack ambition and should of nailed downed our prized assets. I think our approach this season especially in the transfer market has been under whelming.... I cannot understand the formation we are currently using clearly it is not working so why continue to use weak tactics.... 1) drop this formation 2) Get a striker somebody who can finish 3) Claude will be gone before crimbo 4) Saints will never be top 4 not a big enough club no ambition......

Why the over analyzing and number crunching? We are weaker than last season it is not rocket science... With more games to play aswell. Tactics wise we have looked clueless and will either adapt eventually or will fade fast and Claude will be out the door. Saints and the youth teams are used to playing a sepcific way and this clown comes in and throws it out the window.... Doesnt make any sense...

I just cannot see us beating Arsenal with this stupid formation.... Wenger will know how to counter it off the bat im going for a 4-0 hammering to the Arseoles

Players havent adjusted to the Puel philosophy. Give it 10 games at least... Transfer window still open besides it's not like Koeman had us playing decent initially. oliver Burke would be a good signing, young massive potential fits the Southampton business model. Ziyech / Berahino / Dost and a decent Def mid That is the wishlist.

Have we put a bid in for Boufal? I have had time to think and believe the way we do business is smart. Sure we could go out tommorow and sign three Carlos kick a balls for millions. But that just isn't the way we do things. I think Redmond and Hojbjerg are fantastic signings. As for bringing in players I would go for Idrissa Gueye and Will Hughes both young and fit the mould. Then spend extra on Bas Dost.

Look at this way when we had Mane, Pelle if we had any sort of ambition then? When we were 6th why didnt we lay down another 30 million sign two more decent players and go for the top 4? To me that was the best oppurtunity to go for Champions League we will not see a similar postion / opportunity. We are small time easily posched that is the Southampton way
