The only way that another manager could keep us up IMO would be by playing a completely different brand of football to the one Sports Republic want us to play, which is why I don’t see them getting rid of RM. Say for example Moyes came in, he’d set us up hard to beat, he’d want a new centre half, want us to be strong in the centre of the pitch, playing a lot more direct with 2 strikers through the middle. I saw a clip of the Wolves game on SSN this morning that Gary Neville was referring to, it was bloody awful and exactly like watching Saints. There were 5 minutes left of the game and wolves spent a minute just passing it between the defence and GK. There were 9 second half subs, that’s 4 and a half minutes alone, plus the game was stopped for 2 minutes for that melee. We didn’t defend well enough at the end when it mattered, can’t believe how much time and space they had on the edge of our box.
