What do we do best in this Country?

Yes, and why are they people so that people thousands of miles away can watch it? Ignore the semantics and whether "spectacle" is exactly the right word - The Premier League is a massively successful product.

I think the product's popularity is alot to do with the history and tradition of England being the home of football. The Premier League doesn't attract the best players, or have the best atmosphere. It's definitely a more exciting league than the Spanish or Italian, not sure about German though.

So its living off the days when it actually was exciting when the standard was even pooer but more had British players and when we had terracing?

Great that isn't it?

English teams were often the best in Europe during the 70's and 80's before the Premier League was formed. I think the league was way more exciting before Sky ruined it.

Strut around tut tutting the rest of the world for being corrupt & immoral.

And then break Compliance Laws, Forge Interest Rates, help to ruin the global financial system, gain favour by an old school tie dodgy handshake system, earn millions for making a piece of paper seem like wealth that then gets chucked in a bin after you have ripped off a million pound bonus cheque to spend on Coke.

Yep easily the most corrupt nation in the world
