Thta probably works fine when buying a company with a couple of hundred employees. This is different, He has thousands and thousands of very happy saints fans looking up at his window hailing him as the next messiah.
SuperSAINT Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 A statement like this? Markus Liebherr commented: “I believe we have a superb opportunity to rebuild this great Club. Clearly, this will require resources, planning, hard work and patience. We will assemble a strong management team at every level of the Club. We will act rapidly, but also plan for the long term, because I am here for the long term. “I also look forward to the Club re-engaging with the fans and the local community. We cannot succeed with out their backing. “We should not expect instant success, but our fans, employees and other stakeholders can expect 100 per cent commitment from me and my team.” It is expected that there will be media briefings on the new owner’s detailed strategy during early August when he expects to have the full new management team in place. Rebel Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 leave him in peace for God's sake - just be thankful he has saved our Saints!!!! give him time to appoint his people - a CEO and all that - and let them do his talking for him - we want a dignified, strong ad silent chairman/owner the last thing we need is another Lowe or a Mike Ashley! or Wilde with false promises! whatever you do LadySaint and Exit2 just don't try and phone him or he'll think all Saints fans are insane and do a runner!!!! Chez Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 it says he is not going to do media rounds until August, by which time he hopes to have management (at all levels) teams in place. I hope a few players are bought between now and then. Still if it means he is working hard and not talking ****e in the media good on him.
