Another great result yesterday, we really seem to be buliding something here, PArdew has plan A and plan B, and we have depth, loving every second of this, but we have to stay realisitc.

We are by no means the finished article and we and the players must keep our feet on the ground, getting a good league finish would be good for us this season and promotion should be the target next season when we are stronger and know we will be able to compete well in the championship.

But long may these results continue and loving seeing a winning Saints again, a year ago we would have folded in that game.

I though staying in this leauge was our aim for this season, but I think we can push on now for the playoff's if we continue to beat the so called better teams, there is no one in this leauge that we should fear.

I thought the strategy was to get to Christmas and see where we are and then go on from there.

Nobody really knew when or if the team would gel but it does seem to have done so and if the team is not dispupted with injuries we should be able to continue winning and possibly get in new players like we have done with Connolly and Antonio.

Personnally I would like another central defender and a Left Sided midfielder

If we can win 15 games in a row, we have a good chance at the PO this season imo

Going by last seasons table we need to get 76 points to get into the play offs which is another 22 wins from 32 games. Would need a fair bit of luck to win that many games but I think we can do it if Jaidi, Trottman, Lallana, Waigo and Lambert stay fit.

Automatic would be 26 wins from 32 which would be a bit of a miracle.

The way we are playing at the moment and the confidence instilled in this team I really cant see many teams beating us, could find it hard against Leeds and Huddersfield but if we can keep up our fantanstic away following we could certainly get into the po's. Personally would be more than happy this season to finish out of the bottom 4 though.

As mentioned on other threads, I think it was Nickh that worked out we need to average 2 points a game in order to reach the number of points 6th place got last season. Therefore we only need to draw our away game and win the home games. Obviously we will get ahead of this average as the winning run continues. We have a very very good chance of the playoffs, however it will come down to what happens in January, i.e Trottman and other players

All the time were winning the away support will grow in numbers which could be worth a few more points come the end of the season. I think if we are mid table at christmas we will make the playoffs

I think we're more than capable of the playoffs. The team's aim is to win as many games as possible, and as long as the top six is mathematically in sight then it has to be an aim for us IMO.

A League 1 dream team would feature at least 4 of our players on current form (Hammond, Jaidi, Lambo, Lallana) so we should be aiming to dominate the league now that the -10 is long gone
