Not sure if this is the right section but just made this ringtone for the other half for her new phone and she seems impressed with it!

Taken from the full house at Exeter this year and massaged a little I'm quite pleased with the mp3 / ringtone!

"All Southampton" Free to download from here for all Saintsweb folks - enjoy :)

Oh When the Saints

We're going to Wemberley...

link does not work here either,

Might be your antivirus / firewall not allowing through .mp3 files. So, for those that the direct download doesn't work for I've compressed it into a zip file for download

Click here for the zip file

If that doesn't work and you still want to hear it send me a private message with your email address and I'll send it to you via email :)

TractorSaint, could you please send the ringtone to 07814335730

Thanks very much :smt109 :prayer:

Sorry George - it's up to you to get it from your PC / laptop to your phone!!

Anybody know how to get it on an iPhone?

Lordswood - a quick google for "mp3 to iphone ringtone converter" came up with some options for you - at a guess you convert it and then transfer it via USB (the iphone should come up as a separate disk under Windows when plugged in?)

how do i download the ringtone

You'll need to refer to your mobile phone manual (or google online) as there are so many phones out there, most of the new ones can play mp3 files but older phones can't. You'll have to see if your phone supports it.

Usually all you need to do is:

1. Download the .mp3 file (or the .zip and then extract to your computer)

2. Plug your phone into your computer via USB

3. You should have a new disk found (just like a USB key)

4. Copy the .mp3 file over onto that new disk

5. Eject the USB disk (check your system tray and double click "Safely Remove Hardware")

6. Go through your phone settings and change the ring tone to point to where you've just copied the file in step 4

Since you always seem to be in a permanent state of misery it is no surprise that your sour nature would pour scorn on the chap's efforts.

Not at all, his 'efforts' remain untarnished ... just letting you know how cringeworthy 'novelty' ringtones are. It's a discussion board after all you know.

ps ... I plopped your apostrophe in for you so you don't look too illiterate.

I guess a maths lecturer can miss an apostrophe every now and then.

You, however, will always be a sour faced c*nt.

All, of course, IMHO.

Ahhh, OK so you think 'novelty' ringtones are cringeworthy. That's your opinion. Congratulations but not sure why you thought anyone else would be interested in that on this thread given it's just a 'you can download new ringtones here' and apart from a 'it works thanks' or a 'it doesn't work, how can I make it work' I'm not really bothered on your opinion if it's nothing to do with the specific ringtones that I've offered up.

1)correct

2) well done for wasting two posts on it then.

Hurling personal insults via the internet is very hard and something all 'maths lecturers' should aspire to.

Hey Tractor_Saint, cheers for the ringtone! It would be awesome if you or anyone else with the capability could record some more of the chants for ringtones. Id love a "when i was just a boy..." blairing out of my phone!

The girlfriend agrees and has asked for the same chant now :) All you need to do to get this is ensure there's a full house at the next home game and I'll be there, ready and waiting :)

It's a pay site and it appears to be a bunch of blokes in front of a mic singing it in a studio to make money. This thread is free - hmmm decisions decisions.

i never paid for any of the songs, its quite easy to get them for free & if you think there are being sung by a bunch of blokes in studio, imo you need to get your ears tested.

Um, yeah, whatever

Check out these two:

http://www.fanchants.com/football-songs/portsmouth-chants/blue-army/

From a live match are they? OK, finally, is this really the mighty mighty Man Utd in all their glory singing Red Army?

I might be a bit biased but I think the ones posted here are a little more 'real' and also better sounding than those on that pay site.

Did anyone record the famous

'Where are ya?

Where are ya?'

from the Colchester fog?

Sadly not! Both the mp3's were ripped from videos that I took at matches but the only real slightly foggy one I have from Colchester is here:

And there's no trace of 'where are ya?' :) Or even the "One ball, you've only got one ball". Hey ho, next time maybe.
