chivvy1664 Posted 18 September, 2008 Share Posted 18 September, 2008 Im very frightened this season. The attendance last night was terrible. I didnt go as £25 is a lot of money for a more than likely disapointment. I think the more worrying thing in all this is that the two people responsible for getting us into this mess are responsible for getting us out. Lowe/Wilde the buck stops with them. Resign yourself to the thought of relegation. Realise that you have no control over it. One cannot change what one has no control over, Ergo. Do not waste one's time and emotions on that which is unchangeable through one's actions, = no stress. That should stop the runs.
Secret Site Agent Posted 18 September, 2008 Share Posted 18 September, 2008 I am too. My dog is very ill and I have to pay the vets bills, I am having a few problems at home with the misses, the credit crunch is starting to crunch, my company don't have a job for me to go to after the one I am on has finished, the Job I had an interview for can't now accomodate me. Russia is resurging, my lad wants to join the army, my dad isn't looking too parky, someone keeps keying my car. Football, and saints, don't frighten me. More concern, disappointment and adulation, with a calm realism.

Whilst I agree what you say about Lowe/Wilde now is not the time to be frightened. Yes £25 is a lot of money but if you can afford it and have the time get yourself down to SMS on Saturday. Supporting Saints has always been about highs and lows, just because we had 27 years of semi highs. I want Lowe gone but NOW is about supporting the team , whether you agree with the methods it is OUR football club

To be honest, Lowe and Wilde have knocked all the enthusiasm out of me. Won't be going until they're gone.

Irrespective of what happens this season - I am a Saints fan - I'll be one next season after and the season after and the seas.... irrespective of where the team are playing. Scary no - exciting yes....

Toomer Posted 18 September, 2008 Share Posted 18 September, 2008 Perhaps I should give my ST away and stop going as I under the doctor and hospital with the old ticker again.

The thing that stresses me is the distant notion that I could do some thing to change the outcome, giving myself the illusion of control. Now that i'm in control if we get relegated it's all my fault. Now that makes me feel bad.

Iowsaintsfan Posted 18 September, 2008 Share Posted 18 September, 2008 I am actually enjoying going to games alot more this season, The fans that are going are the core of SFC and will truely go no matter what, ok the results arnt great but look what changes have been made? did you really expect us to be top of the league playing with kids that are untested? I honestly believe as they get more experience we will become stronger and stronger as the season goes on. To me SFC has always been about the ride not the success. Its tough now but stick with it your team needs you SFC FOR LIFE

I cant get to every game due other commiitments. I had an oppurtunity to go wednesday night but the thought of a another poor display wasnt worth the £25 plus fuel gamble.
