londonsaint1604 Posted 11 March, 2010 Share Posted 11 March, 2010 I just got tickets for saturday in block 43. Anyone know if it's been opened for home fans already this season?
stevegrant Posted 11 March, 2010 Share Posted 11 March, 2010 Sounds as though we've given Leeds a reduced allocation, probably after they arsed us around for the game at their place before Christmas.

Especially seeing as they didn't sell out for that game and it looks like we will.

That makes sense I suppose. I was slightly worried that it was some kind of mistake, but quite pleased with that.
The9 Posted 11 March, 2010 Share Posted 11 March, 2010 Hilarious considering there's some bloke on 606 Forum who bangs on about how Leeds have sold out all of their allocations in League One since the beginning of time etc.

The9 Posted 11 March, 2010 Share Posted 11 March, 2010 Why? You'll have to ask him. But all sodding about aside, it's hardly a great statement to say "we always sell out our allocation" when it's fairly obvious that home teams don't want many of their yobbo scrotes travelling anyway. Case in point, Saints would rather risk leaving 1000+ seats empty than give them to Leeds.

But can't knock the numbers they have taken away every game since being down here and the vocal support they give their team.
JRM Posted 11 March, 2010 Share Posted 11 March, 2010 another case of the utter cluelessness of people on here when it comes to support of other clubs. Leeds could EASILY have sold out 3200 they probably would even bring 5k if we gave it to them. for whatever reason we have given them a smaller allocation (not sure why) but by having tickets on general sale we have just invited Leeds to buy in the home end. They have already taken over parts of the home sections at Exeter and MK Dons this season, so expect there to be a number of them around the ground saturday
JRM Posted 11 March, 2010 Share Posted 11 March, 2010 the Leeds programme has attendances with the away following in brackets next to it. If the away section was sold out they put an asterix. Leeds have sold out for every away game this year apart from Darlington in the cup.

Griffo Posted 11 March, 2010 Share Posted 11 March, 2010 We gave them a reduced allocation because of the trouble last time they came to St Mary's. They sold their 2,200 allocation in under and hour and they had well over 3,000 applications for the tickets.

dune Posted 11 March, 2010 Share Posted 11 March, 2010 I heard Bates demanded guarenteed sale on extra tickets up at Elland Road so we returned the favour and Bates wouldn't cough up.
