OK, I can see the motley crew who are indulging in Late Kick Off aren't going to get this one. ;)

Roger Johnson scored the last ever goal at The Dell in front of a paying crowd. It was a penalty in the half-time show, during the Saints V Brighton match. Uwe Rosler scored for Saints in the first half. 1-0.

On 26 May, the club's fans said goodbye to The Dell by stripping all of its seats, the pitch and one man even walked off with an advertising board at the end of a friendly with Brighton and Hove Albion - making them the first and last club to play Southampton at the stadium. Saints won this game 1-0, with the goal (the last ever at The Dell) being scored by Uwe Rösler.

When the hell are we gonna see Lambert smash the ball in the net at 85 mph???

Don't know, but I heard that his old mate at Bristol Rovers, Chris Lines, who is currently leading the table of the fastest shooters, with 79mph, reckons he won't beat Lambert.

Indeed, when they do the whole name thing he said "Chris Lines, 79 mph...never gonna beat Lambo".

It's South and South-West.

EDIT: You'll note that Brighton are not included, unless playing one of the region teams, of course.

Brighton were included. A quote from Gus Poyet about being fed-up at playing well but not winning. Includes all the FL teams covered by the Southampton, Oxford, Bristol and Plymouth BBC studios, from Exeter in the west to Brighton in the east to Cheltenham and Wycombe in the north.

Well Brighton are not meant to be included. They are part of the South-East region. I'm sure normal service will be resumed next week.

Never did like Roger Johnson, always screwing things up. ;)

EDIT: Just checked. Brighton played Carlisle at the weekend, and they were included, so perhaps Auntie has had a change in policy. Brighton were not included, on their own account, in the first few programmes, but they've slipped in through the back door.. ooerr..!

I think there are several teams that appear on different regions because they are on the cross-over zone. Cheltenham with the Midlands. Wycombe and Brighton with the London and SE etc. BBC South have always covered Brighton as a local team though.

She used to be a DJ/presenter on Power FM and both her and James Haddock (also a Saints fan) left to join Sky Sports. James is still there and covers everything from golf to the Superbowl.

Was James Haddock the old commentator on the saint before Will Cope?

Shame they didn't give our playoff hopes more of a mention last night, but on the other hand i don't mind quietly going up the table.

I think you have probably hit the nail smack on the head. Brighton are a bit borderline. Always thought that about Brighton. ;)

Cheers for that St Landrew though I have to say that whilst this was the first time I've viewed the show, I found it atrocious.

Even moreso because a club with no links to the football league or the show whatsoever other than they are being relegated to it was talked about more than almost all of the other regional clubs..

...but hey, what great fans they have, eh?
