ottery st mary Posted 6 May, 2010 Share Posted 6 May, 2010 I blame Wotte and Rupes.......Both were obviously holding JP back.
Gemmel Posted 6 May, 2010 Share Posted 6 May, 2010 I hope he and they succeed. Indeed. Totally wrong for us and was always going to end up the way it did, but i always liked him and wish him well. Good luck Jan
jam Posted 6 May, 2010 Share Posted 6 May, 2010 Can't help feeling that JP was the least of our problems last year. Good luck to him.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 6 May, 2010 Share Posted 6 May, 2010 I don't think he was that bad here. The reason we went down was gash players, not necessarily the manager.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 6 May, 2010 Share Posted 6 May, 2010 Do I care? Vaguely I suppose. Wanted him to succeed when he was here, because I want all managers to succeed here obviously. Otherwise, he was a part of a flawed and pretty dire part of our history that I did not really enjoy. So for that reason I'm out of the Jan love-in. daveygwyatt Posted 6 May, 2010 Share Posted 6 May, 2010 Jp never had a chance here. Could have been a good manager but was here at the wrong time. Nice bloke too!! So good luck to him.. When he was appointed to his current job I sent message to him via his new club wishing him well.. So I am well pleased for him
Miltonaggro Posted 6 May, 2010 Share Posted 6 May, 2010 Nice guy, a rarity in football, and a f**king dodo around Lowe and Wotte...
scott_saints Posted 6 May, 2010 Share Posted 6 May, 2010 I would go far as to say he is a good manager. Last season he had an absolute dog s**t team, and got them playing some bl00dy good football (which sadly....didn't result in many wins!)
